Scott : The wheels arrived safe and sound today. Thank you very much for all the work you have done to get them to me, I really appreciate it. Once I get the tyres on I’ll be putting some photos on Instagram and thanking you there too.

Christian : Really satisfied with the rims. Very light for this size. The size is perfect either for flat or uphill. The aero features make these rims going very fast. Meanwhile the standard brake track performance is not impressive, but works well enough. If there is an option for 30mm wide, 65mm depth would be nice. Definitely will recommend these rims. Once again thank you Light Bicycle.

Jason : 2016 Fuji Transonic SL with AR56 wheels and DT Swiss 240s hubs. Tubeless with Continental GP5000. Hubs are strangely whisper silent (no clicking sounds) but sorta like the silence when coasting.

Brent : Thank you so much. These wheels are gorgeous and I love the way they ride!

Andreas : AR56 rim brake. The 30mm wide rim worked fine with the Ultegra calipers. Really easy to set up tubeless with Vittoria Corsa tires.

ChooChooNY : My new LB WR56 wheels with DT Swiss 350 hubs. Running tubeless with Conti 5000s (25mm) - very smooth and comfy. I got a KOM on my first ride with them -- one that I'd been trying for over the past few months. It was, however, very difficult to mount the Continental Grand Prix 5000 TLE tires on the WR56 rims. The same tires had about 200 miles on them and just needed a tiny help from a tire lever to mount on my other non-LB wheels (and seated with a track pump). For the WR56s I had to tie a strap around the tire to hold it to the rim while I manhandled the rest of the tire onto the rim. I then needed an air compressor to seat the beads. No way will I be able to fix a flat using an innertube when I'm outside on the road. I do love the speed of these wheels!

Peter : Bike is a Lemond Victoire with a mix of Dura-Ace derailleurs and 105 shifters. Wheel build is the Light Bicycle AR56 rim 24h front and 28h rear laced with DT double butted spokes with Sapim double square blue alloy nipples on Hope RS4 hubs. I have been building wheels for 20 years and have been impressed with the quality and finish of these rims.

Ryan 2020/10/04

Hi, Would these fit on my 2020 Supersix Evo rim?

LightBicycle 2020/10/05

Hi Ryan, From SuperSix Evo website, it is hard to find its clearance, you will have to check with bike supplier whether the bike and brake caliper is wide enough for 30mm wide rim brake wheelset. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Lucas 2020/07/29

Hi - which wheelsets are compatible with a 2014 cannondale supersix evo running SRAM red 22 with rim brakes? Thank you!

LightBicycle 2020/07/29

Hi Lucas, I think the AR36 (21mm internal, 28mm outer width, 36mm deep), AR46 (21mm internal, 28mm outer width, 46mm deep) 700C would be a good fit for you. For 700C rim A56 30mm wide, it will be too wide for your bike or brake caliper. You have to check whether your bike is wide enough. Thanks, Lightbicycle

I saw you reply to another poster about the RR56C03 wheelset. How would I go about ordering them? I don’t see them anywhere on the site. What are your current lead times to the U.S.?

LightBicycle 2020/07/20

Hi Bobby, The RR56C03 700C road disc with 28mm wide is not available online, you can order it by email. What specs are you looking for? Please be more specific so I can make the quote accordingly. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Rod 2020/07/10

Hello, would these fit my rear ultegra 6800 direct mount and front normal mount ultegra 6800 brake calipers?

LightBicycle 2020/07/11

Hi Rod, The AR56 with 30mm wide 700C wheel would be too wide for your Shimano Ultegra 6800 brakes. However, if you like the profile of AR56, we do have an RR56C03 (21mm internal, 28mm outer width, 56mm deep) that would fit the brake and with the same shape of AR56. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Kevin 2020/05/29

Hi, my bike is a 2018 Giant TCR Advanced Pro1 (Rim Brake). I am looking at your 700C-FALCON-wheelset AR56-30mm wide-56mm deep (complete wheelset). I have a tight budget so please help me spec these out. I will run 25mm tires, however I will ask if these can accommodate 28's? I look forward to hearing from you. I live in North America (San Gabriel Valley) Thank you Kevin By the way. I learned about your company from Intheknowcycling.com

LightBicycle 2020/05/29

Hi Kevin, 1. AR56 fits well with both 25c and 28c tires. 2. We do have Novatec hubs that will lower the cost down. But I notice that TCR ADVANCED PRO 1 cane with 16H/21H. Our most common build comes with 20H/24H for rim brake wheels, will this be ok with you? If not, I can check if we can get Novatec hubs with 16H/21H for you. Thanks, Lightbicycle

I am wondering if you offer a Sram XDR freehub option on the hubs for your rim brake AR56 or RR55 wheelsets?

LightBicycle 2020/02/20

Hi John, Yes, we do have XDR freehub available for DT SWISS hubs. Are you looking for 180, 240s, or 350 for your road disc wheelset 700C? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Jeff 2020/01/22

Are the AR56 rim brake wheelsets available in North America (USA)? I am only getting the option for “Global”. Thanks, Jeff

LightBicycle 2020/01/23

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your reaching out! For AR56 30mm wide/56mm deep rim brake version, we do not keep any stock in North American warehouse. If you like to order, we have to manufacture in our global production line, then ship them to North American warehouse for you, or ship to you directly.Does it work for you? Is your bike and brake caliper wide enough for 30mm wide wheelset 700C? If yes, you can list your order specs here, i can work on invoice accordingly for you. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Craig 2019/05/08

Hello! I would like these wheels in a 12K twill weave, is this possible or only 12K plain weave? Thanks in advance

LightBicycle 2019/05/09

Hi Graig, Yes, we can make 12k twill of the RR56C02 wide gravel bike rim if that is what you desire. Have you figured out the configurations of the wheelset yet? List me the details and I will create the invoice for you since the weave you want is not available online. Below is the picture of 12k twill for your ref in case you want to see how it turned out. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Which caliper brakes suit best, if i dont want to use disc brake? Because all the shimano calipers are limited to 28mm rim width.

LightBicycle 2019/03/15

Hi Jeremy, We found shimano BR-R8000 brakes are okay for wider tires like 28C. Please find attached pictures. But we are not sure whether you bike can fit 30mm wide wheelset. Our RR56C02 road disc rim is 30mm wide. You will have to check with your bike. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Dr 2019/03/07

Hi, Where are you based? I see that USA prices are much higher than the global? Any reason?

LightBicycle 2019/03/08

Hi Dr Deepak, We can ship from CN(China) and CA(Canada). The main reason why North America warehouse price higher is that they absorb tax and shipping cost (hub option is different as well). you can see more details about the differences between two warehouse at https://www.lightbicycle.com/express-delivery Are you interested in RR56C02 30mm wide road disc wheels? Hi I’d like a set of your wheels would you make a set with a 15mm thru axle dynamo hub with a WR56C02?

LightBicycle 2019/02/21

Hi Pat, It is okay to build WR56C02 road disc wheelset with 15mm thru axle dynamo hub. We can get below dynamo hubs. Which model and what spoke count do you like? What about rear hub? What rear hub spec do you like? http://www.sp-dynamo.com/ Then we can quote accordingly based on your hub specs. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Rob 2019/01/15

Hi, I had some of your wheels on my last MTB and I am now looking at some for my road bike. I am looking at the WR56C02 but unsure what specification I need. My bike is disc brake and has 100x12 front and 142x12 rear. I am looking to save weight on the bike but my budget is very tight, what recommendation can you make? I am either looking at these wheels or some from a UK supplier called Parcours at 830 GBP, do you know what taxes I would have if looking to import your wheels? thankyou

LightBicycle 2019/01/16

Hi Rob, For your budget, we recommend DT Swiss 350 hubs and Novatec hubs for your road disc wheelset. We sent the wheelset specs and quotation through email to you. Please check. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Markus 2018/12/27

Hello, I'm very interested in this wheelset, but would like to have a assymetrical Version. Is there something planned? Thanks a lot in advanced, Markus

LightBicycle 2018/12/29

Hi Markus, The only asymmetrical road bike rim we have that close to the 56mm rim you saw. It is 25mm wide/50mm deep. If you are interested in, we can send you the rim profile for your check. Thanks, Lightbicycle
