Peter : Bike is a Lemond Victoire with a mix of Dura-Ace derailleurs and 105 shifters. Wheel build is the Light Bicycle AR56 rim 24h front and 28h rear laced with DT double butted spokes with Sapim double square blue alloy nipples on Hope RS4 hubs. I have been building wheels for 20 years and have been impressed with the quality and finish of these rims.

Mike : Yeah fitted them up with 38mm Panaracer GravelKing tyres. The width of the wheels works really well with the bigger tyres. I haven’t done a proper ride on them yet but can’t wait to.

Neil : Hello Vivian, I thought I would let you know how the new wheels are performing. Last week I rode 480 klm and climbed 7,800 mtrs over a six day period in a area that is known as the high country in Victoria , Australia. I have attached a photo of the bike at the top of a climb called Tawonga Gap, just near the town of Bright , Victoria. The wheels have been faultless so far ,both in the climbing but also very good in the decent , which was over 7,700 mtrs. I am running 28mm tyres on the rims. Thank you for all the assistance whilst deciding which wheels to purchase.
