Emacdo: Bought a set of 35MM and 45MM rim brake rims and built them up over the winter with a pair of Campy Electron hubs (completely rebuilt). The 35/45 configuration is a great all-rounder setup - climber in the front, aero in the back. They were fantastically easy to lace up due to their very tight construction tolerances. Finally have been able to take them on a couple of shorter rides in the last couple weeks (now that Spring is here where I live) and they were fabulous. Rode 90+ miles today on chip seal and washboard roads and the rims handled really well. These are now my favorite wheels. I can't say as much about the Conti 5k tires, but that has nothing to do with the rims (switching to a set of Vittoria Corsas after today's ride). The roads around here are passable at best, so I have done my best to beat these rims around and they have responded perfectly. I can't wait to put many more miles on them.

Ctliu: I've to tell you that there's something very wrong with these wheels. They are too BEAUTIFUL! I've to stop and take pictures of my bike with these shiny wheels too many times during a ride. But they also work fine and feel great so far!

Alex: Very handsome WR50 wheelset, perfectly matches my frame. Built with i9 Torch CL hubs, Sapim CX-Ray spokes, and Sapim alloy nipples. Tire clearance is quite good on my Tarmac SL6; brand-new 28 mm Vittoria Corsa Controls measure exactly 31 mm, with rear chainstay tire clearances of ~3.9 mm on each side and front clearances of slightly more than 6 mm on both sides and the top of the tire. Both wheels are as true as I can measure with them on the frame. I don't have a tension meter, but plucking the spokes reveals no variation in tone between spokes on the same side of the wheel. Can't yet speak as to their durability, but I have high hopes, since my friend's identically-specced (hubs, spokes, nipples) AR56 wheelset has seen several thousand miles of abuse and remains in near-flawless condition, and the build quality of my own wheels is similarly high.

Dan: AR46 wheelset with Industry 9 1/1 hubs, Sapim CX Ray spokes, and brass nipples on a 2020 Giant Defy Advanced 2. Finished with Schwalbe One TLE 700x28C tires, which required two tire levers and a Kool Stop Tire Bead Jack to squeeze onto the rim. Once on the rim, they were easily inflated with a standard floor pump and held their pressure without any sealant for several days. No chance I'd be able to get the Schwalbe tires off the rim on the roadside if I needed to make an emergency repair. Took them out on a 60 km test ride this morning, and even with 20 km/hr winds they handled very well. I was concerned that the deeper wheels would be more susceptible to crosswinds, but I never felt unstable. I also crossed a variety of terrain, from smooth trails to poorly maintained roads to small sections of gravel, and they actually felt more comfortable all around than the stock aluminum wheels. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality, feel, and aesthetics.

Murph: I’m loving my new wheels, I just finished refreshing my Moots with a new Enve seat post, stem, fork, Easton EC90 Aero bars and wanted to share an updated picture of my bike. This bike has 30,000 miles on it.
