I was looking for a carbon wheelset for my 2014 Santa Cruz Nomad that I could build myself and found Lightbicycle through Ali Clarkson's wheel building instruction video. Getting in contact with Lightbicycle was easy and with their recommendation, I chose the AM724 (RM650BC19) rim with DT comp spokes (they were also helping me to figure out the right spoke length for the existing hubs that I planned to reuse). After ordering I was able to see the progress of the rim manufacturing process every step of the way, which I think is a very nice feature. Rims arrived and building the wheels was a breeze! The Maxxis tires went on the rim with a regular floor pump, which was a first for me - in the past I always had to use air boosts to seat my tubeless tires. I have ridden the wheels for about 300 miles by now and am really happy with their performance and stability - acceleration and stiffness are very good for the riding that I am doing.
