I was going through your custom made Mountain bike wheel menus (trying to configure the wheels I want made, etc), and on the spoke section there is NO option for DT Swiss Champion 2.0 straight gauge black? You only have their "competition" spokes... DT swiss Champion 2.0 straight gauge spokes are like the "reference standard" for Mountain bike wheels. Can you please add the DT swiss Champion 2.0 straight gauge black spokes into your wheel making process, and into the menu system for custom build configuring? (they also come in silver as well, so you should probably add that also) Thanks, Daryn Falandys

LightBicycle 2019/07/16

Hi Daryn, DT Swiss Champion 2.0 SP spokes are available, I can make the quote for you if you can provide the wheel configuration you have in mind to us. Which mountain bike wheels do you like? And hubs specs? Thanks, Lightbicycle

I'm considering one of your 700c Falcon Pro WR38 32mm wide/38mm deep wheelsets with DT Swiss 240s hubs. Is it possible to for you to set up the hubs with a 15mm front thru axle and a 12mm rear thru axle? My bike has a 15mm front axle, but the only option on your site is 12mm. Would it take longer to get that configuration, and if so how much longer? Thanks!

LightBicycle 2019/07/15

Hi Nick, Yes, we do offer DT Swiss 240s hubs with front 15*100mm. It's the most common setup for disc road wheels. It does available online. Maybe there were some errors for the page when you make the selection. Anyway, I will create the invoice for you to proceed the order. Wheelset: USD1051.8/pair --RIMS: Falcon Pro WR38 32mm wide/38mm deep, UD, 28H, disc --HUBS: DT SWISS 240S, 15 / 100mm, 12 / 142mm, Shimano Road 11S, straight pull, center lock, Black, 28H, 18T --SPOKES: Sapim CX Ray --NIPPLES: Aluminium Black --ACCESSORIES: Free sticker optional Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi Can you advise on a 26 rim if i was too use the True Precision Stealth rear hub, would i need it symmetric or asymmetric

LightBicycle 2019/07/15

Hi Sir, Asymmetrical rims are designed and drilled to compensate for the offset design of most hubs. The asymmetry of the rim allows the spokes to equalize in the tension between the drive and non-drive sides of the wheel. The result is in more even spoke lengths and a stronger wheel build which requires less trying than a traditional rim. On the other hand, symmetrical rims utilize standard drilling practices and do not compensate for the offset hub design. Can you get the hub dimensions drawing to confirm that the hub is made with standard offset? Also, can you confirm whether if your frame a specially made frame that with offset feature? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Ekrem 2019/07/11

Hello I have two question; -Do you have 3k twill matt or glossy option? -Is it possible put only your "light bicycle" logo on rims remove others? Thanks a lot,

LightBicycle 2019/07/12

Hi Sir, 1. Yes, we can customize 3k twill rims for you without extra charge. Both glossy and matte are doable. 2. Which decal are you refer to? We can do as you wish if you can be more specific about your demands. Which bicycle rims/wheels are you interested in? road wheels or mtb wheels? Thanks, Lightbicycle

I'm looking at the AM935 wheel set. Is there an option to have the Onyx or the Industry 9 Hydra hubs. Didn't see these on the list of available hubs when building the wheel set. Thanks, Scott

LightBicycle 2019/07/09

Hi Scott, Onyx / Industry Nine hubs are available at LB North America warehouse online. You go for AM935 29er wheelset link, and click " North America". Then you can find Onyx/I9 hubs. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Steve 2019/07/06

I have three questions: 1. Is the XC923 rim available? I see it in the comparison but not in shop pages. 2. Do you have stiffness specs on RR36C02 rim? I am trying to compare with the 29er rims for a gravel wheelset with hookless rims - 100% tubeless. 3. Can you build with Bitex 106 or 312 hubs? I would prefer those over the Novatec hubs. Steve

LightBicycle 2019/07/06

Hi Steve, 1. Yes, XC923 29er bike rim is available for order, but no longer available online now. I can create the invoice for you if you like to order. 2. XC923 lateral stiffness is better than RR36C02, but RR36C02 has better vertical stiffness because it is deeper 3. We do have Bitex 312 road disc hubs available at the moment, it's with 24H, is this ok with you? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Chin 2019/07/03

Hello there. I am looking to build a set of 700c wheels for a touring bike. Riding mainly on paved city roads. What rims would you recommend? Thank you.

LightBicycle 2019/07/04

Hi Chin, 1. 700c and 29er are with the same BSD 622mm 2. Our gravel and XC rims can build a wheelset for your touring bike depends on the tire width you use. So could you tell me the tire width first so I can make a recommendation accordingly? The most popular gravel road rims are the RR36C02 (28mm wide, 36mm deep). Thanks, Lightbicycle

Jonathan 2019/07/02

Hello! I am curious if you have the opinion of Titanium hubs available. Like those from white industries? Do you sell deep section light weight alloy rims? Similar to carbon, but more durable? Thanks so much!

LightBicycle 2019/07/03

Hi Jonathan, We can purchase the White industries Titanium hubs for you if that's what you wanted. Sorry that Light Bicycle only sells carbon bicycle rims. Our rims are very durable that many rims last for a few years after some very rough riding. We also had our rims test by pro riders like Ali Clarkson to see how they perform during all sorts of riding. You can check out those videos if you are interested to see the performance in the filed. Also, all our standard rims are with a 3-year warranty and 5-year or lifetime warranty is available for our pro rims (new tech). Let me know if you are interested to learn more about this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DBvwHj2PZU&t=317s Thanks, Lightbicycle

Daniel 2019/07/02

Hi, i'm interested in building a wheel set for my road tandem bike. I have DT Swiss 540s 36 hole disc hubs that I will be using. What rims would be advisable? RR36C02 strong enough? WR38?

LightBicycle 2019/07/03

Hi Daniel, May i know your whole bike weight(including rider weight)? We can also make these road bike rims with some more carbon fiber material added, to make rims stronger. It will be around 50~80g added, and around USD10 added for each rim. It will be durable enough for Tandem bike. Thanks, Lightbicycle
