Hi, I've been using one of your rims for 2-3 years it's bombproof thank you! I've just got a new bike can you supply a 'Mullet' wheelset? ie 29er front 27.5 rear wheel. I know the world is crazy at the moment so no desperate rush. Cheers Neil

LightBicycle 2021/09/15

Hi Neil, I am so happy to hear that you are satisfied with the previous rims. It is okay to order a mixed mtb wheelset(front 29er/rear 27.5). You can list the order specs here, we can quote accordingly. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Do you offer road wheels with campagnolo body?

LightBicycle 2021/09/06

Hi Teun, Yes, we do have hubs that featured with the campy freehub body for road wheels 700C. What hubs do you want to build with? disc or rim brake? Please let me know the model so I can check the inventory and availability accordingly. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Where do I find the serial# on my wheelset?

LightBicycle 2021/08/27

Hi Andre, The serial number is located on the carbon bike rim channel. You can see it when you remove the tire and tape. It's a bar code with a serial number on it. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Juko 2021/05/07

Hello, I'm considering this wheelset, 700c Falcron Pro AR45 DISC 28mm wide 45mm deep. My current bike uses QR on both the front and rear wheel. If I purchase this wheelset using the QR option (Novatec Hub), is it possible to modify the wheelset for a Thru Axle upgrade later? (If I get a new bike) Or are there any other wheelhubs for this wheelset that are both QR and Thru Axle compatible? Thanks!

LightBicycle 2021/05/08

Hi Juko, Are you planning on building the wheelset 700C road disc with your current hub? May I know the item number of the Novatec hubs you have? Most Nocatec Quick Release hubs can be converted to thru-axle hubs using a thru-axle adapter. Can you tell me more about your riding condition so I can know if AR45 is the best rim700C road disc for you? Thanks, Lightbicycle

M 2021/04/06

Hi, I am trying to buy a pair of R65 Rims to use with the DT Swiss 240 EXP hubs that I have, what size Sapim CX Ray spokes do I need to buy to mount these rims onto the hubs?

LightBicycle 2021/04/08

Hi M, We will do the calculation for you, don't worry. I will send the order to you via email since the spokes are not available online. Can you be more specific about the hub specs? road disc or rim brake? 20H or 24H? the spacing size? center lock? Thanks, Lightbicycle

James 2021/04/03

I'm considering a set of your wheels with either the DT Swiss 350 or Novatec D411SB / D412SB hubs. Can you let me know the comparative noise level of the freehubs on the DT Swiss vs. Novatec? I'd prefer a quiet freehub, but I'm not sure the DT Swiss is in my budget.

LightBicycle 2021/04/03

Hi James, Thanks for your inquiry! DT Swiss hubs are more quiet than Novatec hubs, and the quality is also much more stable than Novatec hubs. If you do not mind the price, please go for DT Swiss 350 hubs. For future hubs maintance cost will be higher if you choose cheap hubs, like wheel rebuilt cost, etc. Which road disc wheels 700C do you like? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Calvin 2021/03/26

Hi Light Bicycle, Do you have any Falcon Pro wheelset offerings in 60-65mm deep rims? I am interested in the AR55 Falcon pro (I run 25-30c tires, road use) but would really love a 65mm deep rim in the pro quality offering. Thank you!

LightBicycle 2021/03/26

Hi Calvin, Sorry that we do not have a plan to open a new mold to do the deeper falcon pro rim 700C currently. How about the falcon R65 rim (25.85mm wide/65mm deep) with a satin finish, which looks close to paintless finish. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi LB Team, you are stocking also SON 28 Dynamo hubs with 28 spokes and e-through 12mm and is it possible to get a wheel set made with on of these in the front and a DT350 in the back? Thanks for your support, kind regards - Till

LightBicycle 2021/02/08

sarge 2020/11/11

Hi, I have a 2018 pivot switchblade which requires rear 12x157Ta superboost spacing. I didn't see any hub options that were that size with any wheel sets I was interested in. My front is 15x110 TA boost. Any suggestions? I would like to keep the budget reasonable and hope for internal wheel space to be at about 131-135 mm. Thanks, Sarge

LightBicycle 2020/11/12

Hi Sarge, Yes, we do have 12/157mm super boost hubs, what brand do you prefer? Hope Pro 4? Industry Nine 1/1, Hydra? Onyx Classic or Vesper? Also, which wheelset mountain bike you like? Then we can quote accordingly for you. Thanks, Lightbicycle

I'm buying a Ritchey Breakaway and would like to throw some of your wheels on it. It's going to have a DA 7800 group set on it and I'd like to see what hoops in the 50-65mm range you have. It has clearance for 28mm tires so I'm guessing your 25mm deep wheels would work. If you could get me a total for hoops that'd be great, as I'll be using the Ritchey quick release hub for packing. Thank you.

LightBicycle 2020/08/18

Hi Brandon, We have 25mm wide rim in 55mm and 65mm depth, which depth will you be interested? What are the hubs you want to build the wheelset 700C with? dis or rim brake? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Craig 2020/05/08

Why are the hub costs under the North American Options so much more expensive than for under the Global Options (China warehouse)? I am looking at the Falcon Pro AR46 - 28mm wide wheelset and selecting the DT 240S hub increases the cost by: Global Options: $220 North American Options: $600 The base cost of the wheelset is $107 less under the North American options but the same hub is $380 more. Why the difference?

LightBicycle 2020/05/08

Hi Craig, Yes, the DT hubs are quite different in two warehouses. We purchase DT hubs from DT SWISS in bulk here, so the cost is lower. As for the North America warehouse, we purchase the hubs in a small amount from the DT US branch because some people prefer the faster shipping that Canada warehouse offers. With the tax adding, we really don't have much benefit space. If you are not in a rush, ordering from the Global warehouse would be a better deal. Could you tell me what configurations that you are interested in? Or do you prefer to place the order online by yourself? Thanks, Lightbicycle
