Damaged Upon Delivery

Check the product carefully before signing!

1. If you receive a product with damaged packaging, inspect the items carefully for damage. If there is no damage, sign for the product. If there is damage, report this on the delivery slip or, alternatively, refuse the shipment and it will return to Light Bicycle. If a claim is made against the shipping company, they will provide a compensation number. Please inform Light Bicycle of this number for delivery tracking. Arrangements for reshipment will be made within 10 business days upon receiving the returned package.

2. If the items are damaged but accepted and not reported, there is no recourse against the delivery company and you are responsible for purchasing any replacement product.

3. If the package is in good condition, but the product is significantly damaged during shipment, please keep the waybill, packaging, etc. and contact us within 7 days after the delivery.

This policy applies when all or part of a purchase is cancelled, whether the payment is partially or fully made, but BEFORE the item ships.

A cancellation made after the product has shipped is treated as a “return” with all applicable fees. Please refer to our “Product Return Policy”.

A purchase may not be altered or cancelled without Light Bicycle’s authorization. If and when authorized, 10% off the purchase value (minimum USD50) may be charged to recover re-stocking and operational costs.

1. Scope:

If the product you receive does not match your order, do not use the product, and contact Light Bicycle. If a return and refund is granted, it will be subject to the conditions below, unless otherwise agreed to by Light Bicycle:

a). Only products in saleable condition, shipped from Light Bicycle and having arrived within the last 30 days, will be considered for a return in terms of refund.

b). Special configured products (non-stock/special order) will not be considered for return and refund unless the issue is due to an error made by Light Bicycle.

c). Should Light Bicycle agree to a return and refund, expect repayment within 3 working days after arrival at Light Bicycle.

2. Fees:

The customer is responsible for all fees associated with returns.

a). 20% of the initial purchase value (minimum USD100) will be charged for restocking and refurbishment.

b). The customer is responsible for shipping costs, customs, duties, and any other fees unless otherwise stated in the warranty policy.

Light Bicycle has well integrated the professional teams located both in China and North America to provide customers with efficient support for aftersales issues. North American customers could receive our warm local service without geographic inconvenience.

Standard Warranty Policy

Product Group:

Applies to all Falcon, Recon, and Drift series rims. You can use the product filters on our website to determine which series of rim you have.

Coverage: 3-year Warranty from the date of purchase.

Conditions:

1. If any manufacturing defect occurs within 30 days of the date of purchase, Light Bicycle is obligated to replace the rim(s) and also pay for the shipping cost. If any manufacturing defect occurs after 31 days and up to to 15 months, Light Bicycle is obligated to replace the rim(s), and you would be responsible for the shipping cost.

2. At our discretion, we may send you a heavier duty version. If we no longer make the rim you purchased we’ll upgrade you to the newest equivalent model at no extra cost.

3. The Standard Warranty program is not transferable and only applies to the initial purchaser.

4. Any problem found on the warranty replacement product should be claimed within 7 days after the replacement is received, otherwise, the replacement is viewed as settled. The warranty period applies to the original purchase date and does not reset with a replacement rim.

5. This Warranty coverage does not cover:

a). Improper assembly or maintenance, including maintenance by an unauthorized technician.

b). Installation of parts, accessories or tires that are not originally intended for, or compatible with, the rims/wheels as sold.

c). Damage or failures caused by a crash, accidental damage, misuse of the product, heat damage (typically caused by the wheel sitting too close to vehicle exhaust), non-compliance with manufacturer specifications of usage, or any other fractious reasons.

d). Use of straight gauge spokes.

e). Spokes, nipples, or wheel building issues if the wheel(s) were NOT built by Light Bicycle. If you have a potential wheel building warranty issue with a wheel built by Light Bicycle, please contact us.

Standard Crash Replacement Policy

Scope: The Crash Replacement Policy is to cover accidental crash or mis-use such as casing a big jump or drop, crashing, rock strikes etc.

Product Group: Applies to all Falcon, Recon, and Drift series rims. You can use the product filters on our website to determine which series of rim you have.

Coverage: 3-year Crash Replacement from the date of purchase. 10% Discount.

Conditions:

1. The Standard Crash Replacement Policy is not transferable and only applies to the initial purchaser.

2. Any problem found on the warranty replacement product should be claimed within 7 days after the replacement is received, otherwise, the replacement is viewed as settled. The warranty period applies to the original purchase date and does not reset with a replacement rim.

Premium Warranty Policy

Coverage Options:

- 5-Year Warranty from the date of your purchase. No extra charge.

- Lifetime Warranty from the date of your purchase. Upgrade to Lifetime for USD50/rim.

Conditions:

1. If any manufacturing defect occurs within 30 days of the date of purchase, Light Bicycle is obligated to replace the rim(s) and also pay for the shipping cost. If any manufacturing defect occurs after 31 days and up to to the level of Premium Warranty coverage you have purchased (5-year, or Lifetime), Light Bicycle is obligated to replace the rim(s), and you would be responsible for the shipping cost.

Premium Crash Replacement Policy

1. The Premium Crash Replacement Policy is not transferable and only applies to the initial purchaser.

2. Any problem found on the warranty replacement product should be claimed within 7 days after the replacement is received, otherwise, the replacement is viewed as settled. The warranty period applies to the original purchase date and does not reset with a replacement rim.

1.Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions conduct your use of the Light Bicycle service and website. By visiting the Light Bicycle website you accept, and agree to, the content of these Terms & Conditions. 2.Terms of Service

When you place an order via our website, (www.lightbicycle.com) we will treat that action as an offer to buy. Once the order is placed, we are in a contract with you.

3.Payment

Light Bicycle accepts Paypal for online orders. You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and the address of the card holder when you place your order. We do not store credit card details, as we use an internet merchant facility.

Your privacy is important to Light-Bicycle. We've developed a Privacy Policy that covers how we collect, use and store your information. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices and let us know if you have any questions.

Collection and use of personal information:

The personal information we collect for orders allows us to record the orders correctly. Our Sales Record

We highly value customer satisfaction. If there are any problems with the product or our service, please communicate with us directly before filing a dispute in PayPal (It has a great impact on our PayPal account). We have tens of thousands of customers from all around the world, and highly value repeat customers. We will work hard to solve any issues as soon as possible.


By default, we ship with EMS. Carbon rims and wheelsets are relatively large but lightweight, so they are most cost effective with EMS. Generally, it takes 4 to 5 days to arrive once shipped.

We perform a series of quality control checks as your rims are processed through the factory. Each rim has a unique barcode which we scan through each stage of the manufacturing process.

Hi, I was wondering if I could order just a rear wheel and matching rim for the front. The wheel and rim I would be interested in is Recom RM29C06 Flyweight, 32 holes. I'm 165lb rider building this for cross country riding/racing. Rims matte, UD, with stealth decals. Rear wheel build with DT350 hub, QR 135, Center Lock, XD drive, 18T ratchet, DT Swiss Competition Race spokes, aluminum red nipples. AS part of the order I was wondering if I could get matching spokes and nipples for the front rim that would be laced to the Lefty hub with the following specs: Spoke Hole Circle Diameter non­Drive Side 58 (mm), Spoke Hole Circle Diameter Drive Side 45(mm). Do your wheelsets have weight ratings. I'm a larger rider 230lb (105kg) and worry about durability on any carbon wheels i'd race on? What are the testing standards you use?

We also provide reinforcement customize service for riders who want a stronger build. So there's nothing you need to worry about. The weight we used to test our rim in the lab is over 300kg.
