700C tubeless bicycle wheels 28mm wide 35mm deep clincher for cyclocross road and gravel bikes

Good evening, I'm interested in getting a wheelset from your team, and was hoping for guidance on the best choice. 1. I ride mainly road, a bit of gravel. Mostly for fun but bit of racing triathlon. 2. Heavy rider - I'm 105 kg. 3. Steel (Soma Fogcutter) frame - not thru-axle, standard quick release. 4. Shimano 105 groupset, hydraulic disc brakes. My preference would be for DT Swiss 350 hubs, but not sure if they do quick-release. I was looking at the AR35. What are the best options? Thanks, Aaron

LightBicycle 2021/09/26

Hi Aaron, 1. AR35 is a good choice for 700C gravel riding. It's light and aero. What would be the tires you run with? 2. Our max limit for riders is 135kg for the standard version AR35. So I would say go with the standard version for your bike. 3. I read on Soma's website that the Fog Cutter is with thru-axle dropouts. Can you confirm that you want standard QR hubs? The most common QR hubs for road disc bike is 100mm*QR front and 135mm\*QR rear. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi, Could you please provide a quote for a set of AR35 Falcon Pro wheels shipped TPD tax pre-paid to the UK, with Bitex hubs, black brass nipples, CX-Rays, no rim holes, no decals, normal warranty and no extras. Thanks in advance, Euan

LightBicycle 2021/06/28

Hi Euan, The cost for one AR35-28mm wheelset 700C road disc to the UK is USD183. The AR35's production time is around 14-16 weeks. Are you sure you are ok to wait? Thanks, Lightbicycle

I'm very interested by the AR35 disc Flyweight wheel model. Are them suitable for road bike with a 73 kg rider? Thanks and best regards

LightBicycle 2020/10/01

Hi Sir, Thanks for your inquiry! For your weight 73kg, it is okay to go for AR35 flyweight road disc. What is your bike? Do you ride aggressively? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Marzio 2020/10/01

Hallo My bike is a BMC Roadmachine 01 three from 2018. I do not think to ride aggressively, I don't do races. I do 7000-8000km per years with 100000m of climb. I do practically only asphalt with a lot of climb and down hill. This is the reason why I'm looking for a light wheight pair of wheels. best regards Marzio

LightBicycle 2020/10/02

Hi Marzio, Thanks for your reply! If it is okay for you to go for flyweight version 24H. Do you like rims only or complete wheelset? If it is complete AR35 wheelset 700C disc , what hubs and spokes do you prefer? Thanks, Lightbicycle

I am 63kg doing a lot of climbing with good power.Would the AR35 flyweight road disc be adequate or would I need to stick to the normal ones ?

LightBicycle 2020/10/02

Hi Sir, Thanks for your inquiry! For your weight 63kg, it is okay to ride AR35 flyweight version road disc. But standard version is more durable, it is with more carbon fiber material. Thanks, Lightbicycle

LightBicycle 2020/05/28

Hi Grazie, Sì, possiamo spedire cerchioni / ruote in Italia. Grazie

Is the AR35 Pro Wheelset on your website using the latest rim that you feature on the front page? Also, I know getting no holes in the rim will make tubeless easier, is there an advantage to getting holes?

LightBicycle 2020/05/21

Hi Sir, It is okay to manufacture this road disc wheelset without holes. It is better for tubeless-ready. But it will be hard for replacement spokes/nipples in future if you are not experience in wheelbuilding. Thanks, Lightbicycle
