Comments on Falcon WHEELSET R25 Road/CX

U shape 25mm depth Hand-built 700C carbon 25mm wide clincher road bicycle wheels for tubeless compatible

G

George 2020/09/20

What is the approximate delivery time to Toronto Canada?

LightBicycle 2020/09/21

Hi George, We have the last two R25 (25mm wide, 25mm deep) rims stock in our Canadian warehouse right now. There would be no tax for you since it's domestic. So if you place the order today, I can probably hold them for you. The specs of the 700C rim brake rims are 20H/24H, graphene brake surface, UD, matte, no decals. Could you tell me the hubset and spokes that you want to build with so I can quote and send over the order details for you accordingly? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Don 2020/09/17

Hi, My friend just ordered a set of AR46 Falcon wheels yesterday with DT Swiss 350 hubs. I was planning to order a similar set, but with R25 Falcon for rim brakes. He said you're currently out of the DT Swiss 350 and offered him the 240s hubs as a replacement, with no up charge in cost. If I order a wheelset, would you offer the same DT Swiss 240s hubs? IF so, how do I place the order- just order as 350 and you will email me to confirm the swap? Thanks, Don

LightBicycle 2020/09/17

Hi Don, Is it possible for you to provide the full configurations of the AR46 28mm wide road disc wheels you are looking for so I can check with the availability for all components and quote accordingly? The hub inventory is dynamic status. But 240 hubs are almost run out. The DT SWISS stop producing 240s when the new 240 EXP was released. So there might be a chance that what your want is not available. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Lionel 2019/10/13

Hello, I get one pair of these rims but I don't understand what is the "sense" of the "brake wave" to build the wheels? Can you please give me some informations because I don't want to build the wheel in the wrong "brake wave" direction. Thanks in advance Lionel

LightBicycle 2019/10/14

Hi Lionel, The rim brake track weave should follow the wheel rotating direction as the following sketch shows. Please install the wheel in the right direction and the wheel will good to go. We just emailed you a picture to show the direction. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Do you have polished hubs and silver spokes as an option on this wheel the 25 x25 looks great.

LightBicycle 2019/10/09

Hi Greg, 1) Sorry that we do not have silver spokes, only black sapim cx-ray bladed spokes are available here. 2)And for the polished hubs, do you mean glossy black or matte black for this 700C clincher wheelset? Thanks, Lightbicycle

One last try the trim is the same 25mm carbon but the hims are: front https://rotorbike.com/catalog/default/rvolver-rim-brake-front-hub-522.html Rear https://rotorbike.com/catalog/default/rvolver-rim-brake-rear-hub-shimanor-373.html Spokes & Nipples CxRay please ignore the other two emails. Dave

LightBicycle 2019/05/02

Hi Dave, Do you like to order RRU25T02 tubular 700C rims + sapim cx-ray bladed spokes? You will build wheelset by yourself. Is that right? Or do you like complete wheelset? For complete wheelset, we donot rotor hubs that you sent. But we have DT Swiss 240S and 350 straight pull non disc hubs. Is it okay for you? Thanks, Lightbicycle

What’s is the lightest tubular wheelset you make. Rider weight 55kg.

LightBicycle 2018/12/10

Hi Richard, The weight of road tubular wheelset affects by many factors. What kind of hubs the wheelset use, the rider's riding style, rider's weight, etc. However, we can certainly make a lightweight wheelset that best suit your needs. So, would you kindly provide more infomation about your ridiing so I can know what specs are the best fit for you? 1. Are u looking for disc wheels or rim brake wheels? 2. Any specific hub brand or model that you have in mind? We offer two super light hubs, Extralite and Carbon Ti. But compare to other hubs, they are more expensive. Will this be ok with you? 3. What kind of riding you usually do? Thanks, Lightbicycle

hi - i am looking for a front wheel only. the fork specs says "Flat mount disc brake standard, through axle (12x100mm)" is that included above? Can you add a disc rotor?

LightBicycle 2018/04/20

Dear Tom, You can order the front wheel by mail. 12*100mm Thru Axle hub is available. But the disc rotor is not available by now. How many spokes do you require? 3. Center lock or 6-bolt? 4. J-bend or straight pull? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Is this build the same build as the RG922 on your US website? https://www.lightbicycle.com/U-shape-25mm-depth-Hand-built-700C-carbon-25mm-wide-clincher-road-bicycle-wheels-for-tubeless-compatible.html

LightBicycle 2018/03/13

Hi Tony, Yes, it is okay to build carbon wheels with RG922 rims. What hubs and spokes do you prefer? Then we can quote accordingly for you. Thanks, Light Bicycle

i would like to buy a pair of custom made carbon wheels 24mm tubeless. It is possible to have mounted NOVATEC front hub as61cb 20 holes ud carbon fibre black and NOVATEC rear hub fs62cb-11s 24h shimano 11s ud carbon fibre black ? with Pillar Aero X-TRA 1420?

LightBicycle 2017/11/15

Hi Fabio, Sorry that we only have WRU25C02(25mm wide) wheelset, which is tubeless compatible. You can run tubeless with rim tape and sealant. We recommend our WRU25C02 to run 25c~40c tire. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Can you tell me what the disc brake (no braking surface) u-shape rim weight is and the lightest build for this rim please?

LightBicycle 2017/06/20

Hello Xu, Thanks for your continued support. The U25mm disc rim is 395 /-15g. DT 240S disc hubs are the lightest hubs we have here. Please confirm the hubs axle size for front and rear, and spoke count. then we will calculate the wheelset weight accordingly. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Alex 2017/06/07

Are these (and the other carbon 700c) wheels made in China?

LightBicycle 2017/06/08

Hello Alex, Thanks for your inquiry. We have our own factory in Xiamen China. We are experienced in manufacturing carbon fiber rims. All the rims are hand-made and all the wheels are hand-built here. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Marc 2017/05/17

I need a pair of roadwheels, i'm looking for something light becaus i weight 62kg, what wheels do you recomend me? do you know if i can have problems with the shipping to spain?

LightBicycle 2017/05/18

Hello Marc, Thanks for your inquiry. According to your info, we’d like to recommend our 25mm wide U shape 25mm wheels. It is our lightest wheelset. Also, the U shape rim is with New high TG resin which will provide better braking surface performance than basalt braking surface. The delivery cost is $78 for one wheelset to Spain by EMS (tax isn’t included). Recently, we are working with another delivery which provides a pre-paid customs service. Shipping with XDB is $155.90, then you don’t need to pay any other tax. Does that work for you? Thanks, Lightbicycle
