Some time ago, I ordered the widest 26 inch rims available. UD matt finish, custom valve drilling 8.5 mm for schrader valve, no decals. I laced the wheels myself with cx rays and DT240/Lefty hub and mounted on my ancient cannondale rush 2006 (I suppose). Tires are Continental mountain kings 2.3, tubeless. Overall tire width is more than 60 mm, exactly as I wanted, BTW wider does not fit into the frame and fork. Now it's more than one year without any issue, the rim-tire combination is excellent for light trails, allowing 1.5 bar pressure or less, lacing went smooth. Many thanks to Light Bicycle guys who make my setup possible. These rims are exactly what I dreamed of for years. This is not my first order, and if I need some time for new rims, it will be surely also Light Bicycle.
