I love those wheels. I am wondering, is a netto weight of 75kg to combine with the flyweight option? and is it still also responsible or recommended or better not to. With clothes and teh bike itself is the weight is near 90kg i guess? Love to hear your opinion. Thank u!

Hi Dme, You are a light rider, so the flyweight version should be ok for you. It would be 410g+/-15 for each rim. There will be a USD12 added for the flyweight version rim. Have you figured out the road disc wheelset configurations yet? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello, I'm looking to AR46 wheelset. Not sure about the spokes. Are the Pillar Aero X-TRA 1420 good enough for moderate good paved roads? My weight is 75kg. Going to try with tubeless setup. Thank you.

Hi Oleg, 1. A 28mm wide AR46 road disc wheelset will work for your bike as the tires CUBE complete bike setup is 28mm. 2. If you are only riding moderate paved roads in good conditions, Pillar spokes would be enough. Especially the fact that you are not a heavy rider. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hey, I am a quite heavy sprinter (90 kg) and ride a lot of gravel or cyclocross -> are 24 spokes enough or should I go for 28? Do you offer DT Swiss 350 with 28 Spokes? Since I wash my bike a lot due to dirty conditions, do you include water drainage holes in the rims or are they not necessary? Thanks a lot Matze

Hi Matze, If you ride aggressively, you can go for front 24H/rear 28H. But we only have DT Swiss 240 exp road disc hubs with front 24H/rear 28H in stock. For DT Swiss 350 hubs, we only have front 24H/rear 28H available now. Or we can make rims road disc AR46 with around 50g carbon fiber material added( heavy duty version), then you can choose front 24H/rear 24H. What do you think? Thanks, Lightbicycle

I'm after a set of disc road wheels. These ones look great - 28mm wide, 46 deep, and extremely light. But the description says they're for road, cx and gravel, but "gravel optimised". Does that mean a different set of wheels would be a better choice / faster for road?
