Hello, Is it possible to use the RM650BC09 instead of AR36 (RG722) for gravel biking as it is way lighter and cheaper and have the same inner and almost the same outer width ? Cheers.

Hi Mathieu, Yes, you can use the RM650BC09 as a gravel use rim. But the design intention of the rim usually makes the layup engineering, resin ratio of the carbon fiber, reinforced point, etc are different for different disciplines. What tire pressure you usually run with? One thing you need to keep in mind is that RM650bC09 is hookless (no hook at the tire bead interface). Our recommended tire pressure is to keep it under 40psi. On the other hand, AR36-650B is with hook bead, which will hold the tires better under high pressure. If you prefer a lighter rim, we can customize the AR36-650b as a flyweight version for you. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello, is it possible to buy a wheelset with this rim with a Cannondale Lefty 1.0 hub at the front? I am riding a Cannondale Slate. I am weighing 71 kg. Are 24 spokes at the front and back possible for me? Had no problems on my other gravel bike with 700c wheels with DT Swiss 511db rims and 24 spokes at the front and back. Thanks Chris

Hello, I am trying to decide which rim to use for a 650b bike that will see use on the road as well as on light trails. I weight 175lbs and I prefer to err on the side of durability. I plan to run 650b x 2.1" MTB tires (like the WTB Nano) at about 20-25 PSI, or 650b x 48cm road tires at about 35-40 PSI. I would like to run tubeless rims/tires. Also, I would like the rear rim to be drilled asymmetrically (offset 3mm ideally) while the front is symmetrical. With that list of requests, which rim would you recommend?

Hi I've just purchased a pair of your RG722 rims. Before building them, I have a couple of questions: 1. Do you recommend the use of nipple washers between the spoke nipple and rim - with aluminium rims I normally use these washers on rims that do not have eyelets on the spoke holes. 2. With aluminium rims, I apply a little oil to the nipple where it bears against the rim. Do you recommend lubrication between the nipple and rim on your rims, and if so, what sort of lubrication. Dear Nick, 1. We do not use nipple washers here for building wheels. The spoke holes’ wall strength is strong enough. But if you insist to use nipples, it is okay if you do not mind weight adding. 2. We do use lubrication oil while wheel-building. But it's a local brand, you probably can't find it in your country. I suggest you can buy it from your local bike shop. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello- looking for a price at the following for 650B RG722 carbon wheelset -28 hole -matt -UD -no decal -no valve stem / no tape -hub = dt swiss 240 28 hole front (straight pull) / 28 hole back (12mm through axle with adapters for quick release and 6 bolt disc brake for both wheels) -spokes = pillar bladed 14 gauge or 15 gauge (which do you recommend?) -nipples = black alloy what is the widest width tire I can fit onto this rim? what will my total weight be for each wheel? confirming this wheelset will work with tubed clinchers and tubeless clincher thank you
