Why is the equivalent wheel build of the B13 wheelset cheaper than the AM733? How do they really differ?

Hi Brandon, The essential difference between those two model is the rim profile. AM733 is with asymmetrical rim profile while RM650BC13 is symmetric. Asymmetrical rim profile, it provides better spoke tension balance between drive-side and non-drive side. It will make rims/wheels more durable, and it provides 2 years warranty service. So asymmetrical rims/wheels are with much higher price You can choose the rims building on your own condition. Or if you like, I can make some suggestion to you. But I will need some info from you. 1. your weight 2. tire width 3. what kind of riding you do? aggressive or not? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi LB, Im 180 lbs and does drops and not so crazy big jumps what do you recommend? I got 2017 pivot mach 6 carbon 27.5 boost rear axle 12x148 and 15/110 front not sure if its boost or not, It would be great if i could purchase a lime green hub color and decals and UD matte rims. Pls reply asap. TY

Hello Elmer, Thanks for your inquiry. I saw your other message on our website only. According to your info, I think our 34mm wide 650B enduro asymmetric wheels are strong enough for your riding. For your front hub, I'm not sure if that is with 15*100mm thru axle or 15*110mm boost. Please measure your fork spacing to confirm the correct axle size, thank you. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello Steve, Sorry for the late reply. We were on Chinese New Year vacation in the last 10 days and just get back to office today. The 650B 40mm width rim is much wider, deeper and stronger. Also, the rim weight is much heavier than 34mm width. Yes, the 40mm width is newer, but both rims are with the same design. Rims profile attached for your reference. Thanks, Lightbicycle
