DT Swiss hubs use star ratchets and are available in 4 different models with varying points of engagement.

18T - Deepest teeth, slowest engagement, least amount of maintenance, suitable for powerful riders.

36T - Happy medium, doubles the engagement points.

54T - Super fast engagement, but shallow teeth require more careful re-greasing and the thru-axle should be checked every ride.

24T - Made out of hardened steel as e-bike specific.

EXP 36 - With only a single spring, making the hubs faster and lighter. More precise contact makes a longer lifespan.

Sapim D-Light – The best all-around and most popular spoke for carbon wheels. Lightweight but incredibly strong.
Sapim Race – Our strongest and stiffest spoke. These spokes are suitable for heavy or extremely aggressive riders who need a stiffer wheel.
Sapim CX-Ray – The lightest spoke in our lineup is still quite strong due to the elasticity and amazing fatigue life.
DT Competition Race - All Mountain and XC spoke used by the Chinese location as a substitue for the D-Light (depending on availability)
Pillar PSR X-TRA 1420 - An inexpensive bladed spoke, great for road and cyclocross riding.
Pillar Wing 20 - Pillar patented highest level of aerodynamic bladed spoke reducing potential weak spots and twisting during tensioning. Currently, they are offered in oil slick color only with increased wear and corrosion resistance.
Sapim CX Sprint-Rear drive side/ CX Ray-Other sides - This customized combo increases the rear drive side power transmition efficiency significantly while grabs superior light-weight and aero performance.
Oil slick J-bend - They are made by a qualified manufacturer in Taiwan with custom design by Light Bicycle. They are J-bend only so do not order these spokes for SP hubs you configured in the previous step.
LB Thrust-4 Carbon - The Thrust-4 Carbon spokes are designed to boost high tensile strength. The 4mm all-road profile ensures great crosswind stability.
Berd PolyLight >> - It is constructed from an advanced polymer called ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and are widely considered to be the lightest bicycle spoke option in the world.

Paintless: The "Finish" relates to how the rim is coated or painted such as matte or glossy for the most common applications. Our Recon Pro and Falcon Pro rims feature BlackTek and come out of molds as a completed product, with a scratch resistant and near flawless finish, eliminating the need for coating or painting. We name this kind of superior finish the paintless.

Crystal Painting: A fantastic painting effect designed by Light Bicycle.

Full Custom: This option offers custom finish such as Satin/Raw etc at no extra charge but subject to rim models with 3~5 days LONGER on manufacture. And custom color painting is also available with added 15g/rim and extra $20USD/rim as a start. If you select this option and LEAVE YOUR REQUIREMENT IN QUOTES IN THE NOTES AT CHECKOUT, we will reach out to you once the order is placed to finalize the details.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

For riders 6 feet and up, our new Anax32 offers a highly practical advantage: By scaling the wheels up, a 32″ bike can fit a tall person with more balanced geometry. What about the weight? We’re glad you asked. Our Anax32 has passed the 105J impact test, tipping the scales at just 380g. The Anax32 also features additional tire clearance. More traction, ultimately, equals more speed.

Greetings, We pioneered 29"ers in New Zealand 25 years ago and are continuing this pioneering work with 32" wheels. We have been working with 32" wheel bikes for some time now and have some Maxxis Aspen 32" tyres since last year. We are currently developing a bonded carbon fibre 32" frame and at this stage are using traditional hub dimensions, i.e. 10 x 135mm rear and 9 x 100mm front. For this reason we would like to buy one or two pairs of 32 hole 32" rims. And we already have suitably long stainless steel spokes. Please quote availability and best price to send to New Zealand.
