Charlie 2020/11/20

Hi, any plans to make a hookless ETRTO standard version at any point?

LightBicycle 2020/11/20

Hi Charlie, What tire width and tire pressure do like to use on the rims 700C road disc? Then we can check whether hookless AR35 can work for you or not. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Steve 2020/06/02

Hi, looking for a cost for a reasonable priced disc Wheelset, struggling with hill climbs Steve

LightBicycle 2020/06/03

Hi Steve, The rims you are looking for AR35/AR45 road disc is from our pro series, which is more expensive than our standard rims. I would suggest you our standard rims to build the wheelset you want. Could you answer a few questions before I make any recommendations? 1. What's your weight? 2. What tires will you be running? In what widths? 3. What's the wind condition? 4. What's your budget range for the wheelset? 5. Can you tell me the shipping info so I can check with the shipping option given this special time we are at. Thanks, Lightbicycle

I am looking for a pair of deep (50-70 mm) section rims for a roadbike with rim brakes. What would you propose? Pls, give price and delivery time (VAT and sending included) to Sweden. /Per

LightBicycle 2020/06/01

Hi Per, We have a few road rims (rim brake) 700C that might fit your needs. The R55 (17.9mm internal, 25mm outer width, 55mm depth). The AR56 (23mm inner width, 30mm outer width, 56mm depth) The R65 (18.35mm inner/25.85mm outer width, 65mm depth). Note that the widest area is nearly 29mm. Make sure your caliper/spacing is enough. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Travis 2020/05/08

Everyone is going wider and I’ve been patiently waiting for it. But most companies now offer a wide rim in a deep section as well. Rival makes the clx63, and Cannondale makes the knot64. These are wide internally and great for running tubeless setups. I was expecting you guys to match them with your “WR” series but when I inquired about something deeper than 50mm I was told nothing was in the works. Now you have another line with these “AR” wheels and so I’ll ask again if there are plans to make something around 65-70mm deep? Thanks!

LightBicycle 2020/05/09

Hi Travis, Thank you so much for your suggestions! We noticed that many brands are going deeper section with wider road rims now. We don't have the deeper version planned at the moment. To develop a new model requires many things, a good feedback like yours is essential and helpful. Then we will have to evaluate the market, make new designs and molds, lab testing, finally the production. Thanks, Lightbicycle
