We firstly applied Paintless (BlackTek) technology to our Pro rim manufacturing in Oct 2018. Since then, we’ve seen an increasing demand for these rims with higher strength and reduced weight. Now we are increasing our Falcon Pro series of rims!

Similar to our popular WR38 and WR50, the new rims are made without any post-production finishing. The final result is pure craftsmanship - a beautiful raw finish, completely undisturbed.

The 35mm and 45mm deep rims are part of the “All Road” or AR series which is our most versatile collection of road rims.

Crazy Lightweight

Since we introduced AR35/45 via email, their super lightweight became one of the most discussed on our forum threads. Can you imagine that a 35mm deep rim comes at only 360 grams and a 45mm deep, 390g? This is how much our Flyweight AR35 and AR45 weigh.

Don’t worry - we haven’t lost our marbles. The lightweights are absolutely reasonable, to no detriment of the strength. We choose thinner material which allows us to form more layers, and use a new layup method to fine-tune the characteristics of the rim. The final result? Weight reduction and higher lateral stiffness and strength.

Featuring 28mm external and 21mm internal width (22.5mm hookless), AR35/45’s can handle everything from 23C road to 45C gravel tires.

Mid-Depth

As the name suggests, AR35 is 35mm deep and the AR45 is 45mm deep. Riders find that the 35’s are more comfortable on rougher roads, offer enough stiffness to feel responsive, and are easy to control in crosswinds. Those looking for a racier feel with a greater aero benefit will prefer the 45’s.

Availability

At the North America warehouse, we stock Standard and Flyweight AR45 in both 24 and 28 holes with non-removable glossy black waterslide graphics. Colored vinyl replaceable valve graphics can be added on request.

Our Global warehouse carries all versions. You can order custom hole counts and even get the rims without center channel holes for a clean tubeless setup. Custom decals are available in a wide range of colors, or you can run them full stealth without graphics.

Warranty Options

Hi Per, We have a few road rims (rim brake) 700C that might fit your needs. The R55 (17.9mm internal, 25mm outer width, 55mm depth). The AR56 (23mm inner width, 30mm outer width, 56mm depth) The R65 (18.35mm inner/25.85mm outer width, 65mm depth). Note that the widest area is nearly 29mm. Make sure your caliper/spacing is enough. Everyone is going wider and I’ve been patiently waiting for it. But most companies now offer a wide rim in a deep section as well. Rival makes the clx63, and Cannondale makes the knot64. These are wide internally and great for running tubeless setups. I was expecting you guys to match them with your “WR” series but when I inquired about something deeper than 50mm I was told nothing was in the works. Now you have another line with these “AR” wheels and so I’ll ask again if there are plans to make something around 65-70mm deep? Thanks!

Hi Travis, Thank you so much for your suggestions! We noticed that many brands are going deeper section with wider road rims now. We don't have the deeper version planned at the moment. To develop a new model requires many things, a good feedback like yours is essential and helpful.
