The Sea Otter Classic 2025 marked a milestone for LIGHT BICYCLE as we showcased our carbon wheel technologies to a global audience of cycling enthusiasts, industry leaders, and media partners. One of the most inspiring aspects was the overwhelming presence of our loyal customers, followers, and fans. Over the years, we have shared memories, celebrated milestones, and built friendships. At tent #M206, vendors, exhibitors, and riders had the chance to discover our latest models and technologies.
At the show, we rolled out our 2025 Airia series. Featuring six refined rim depths with three core mixed-depth pairings, the Airia wheelsets are impressively light while also incredibly stiff and strong. The Airia 32 with Extralite SPD 3+ hub weighs just 977g per pair, while the DT 240 EXP build is a mere 1084g.

The 255g MTB rim achieves an extraordinary 95J impact score, striking the perfect balance between lightweight performance and rugged durability.
The AER180 is a triathlon and time trial wheel designed for elite riders, like Kona IRONMAN World Championship racers. It is the pinnacle of speed, stability, and control. With an ultra-deep profile, the AER180 minimizes gaps around the hub and spokes. This design adopts key benefits of a disc wheel, reducing turbulent airflow and decreasing drag. Weighing just 820 grams (disc brake version) and 860 grams (rim brake version), the AER180 rivals the weight of far shallower competitors. Our Sea Otter 2025 custom build features blue titanium spokes and the lightweight LB Pace hub.
