To be honest, I’m absolutely thrilled with the rims so far. Most recently, I tested them during a 560 km event that included some seriously rough MTB sections. I’ve been running 45 mm G-One Overland tires, which fit the rims really well. Thanks to the internal width, the tires sit super stable, and I feel very confident on the bike – especially in corners. Even though the 45 mm tires sit a bit more squared off due to the wide rims, I haven’t experienced any squirming or instability when cornering. Next week, I’ll be riding a 720 km event in the Alps, which also includes a lot of MTB segments. I’ll be testing 50 mm G-One RX tires on the WG44s there – I’m really curious to see how they perform. Also, I have to say: the wheels look absolutely stunning. Great work!
