TECH

Featuring our new U-shaped profile and an incredibly aerodynamic 65mm depth, the R65 disc is the perfect partner for your time-trial, triathlon, or crit racing bike. These build up into some of our stiffest and most aerodynamic wheelsets and maintain top speed like no other. The 25.85mm outer width keeps things aerodynamically optimized with smoother rolling for your 25C ~ 28C tires.

Ctliu: I've to tell you that there's something very wrong with these wheels. They are too BEAUTIFUL! I've to stop and take pictures of my bike with these shiny wheels too many times during a ride. But they also work fine and feel great so far!

Tyler: New wheels day!!!! The weight was below what we thought. Final weight came in at 1507 grams, with the rim tape. Sweet!

Simon: I ended up getting a pair of R65s, and they suit the bike, but not like the WR65 would. More good ideas in the future.

65mm deep carbon 700C 25mm wide road disc rim clincher Im interested in ordering a set od 65's. I prefer a very quiet free hub. Any recommendations will be appreciated. tom

LightBicycle 2020/04/09

Hi Tom, If you prefer quiet hubs, I would recommend the Onyx or DT SWISS 180/240s/350. The Onyx hubs are famous for the sound. They are the quietest hubs on the market right now. But Onyx hubs can be a bit heavy if you do mind the weight. On the other hand, DT hubs are relatively quiet compare to other hubs. Especially the 180s. But it's more expensive than DT 240s hubs. My suggestion would be the DT 240s/350 hub, you can reduce the sound by adding extra grease (but not too many, pls follow the DT SWISS guideline). Do you like R65 disc 700C complete wheelset? Thanks, Lightbicycle
