Drain Hole This is a required option.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

We use a lightweight black alloy anodized valves with an oversized concave collar for easy gripping. A rubber o-ring goes in between the rim and the collar to help seal the rim and match the contour of the rim profile. The valve core is removable so you can add sealant without removing your tire.

Luke : I've been riding Light Bicycle RR46C02 (now called AR46) rims on my Eriksen custom road/gravel bike for over 4 years now and love them. I was very hesitant about getting the 733 model of rims for my bike and also scared about building carbon rims. But I must admit they were super easy to lace and true these rims so much easier the metal rims. Hi James, Hi James, It is okay to make AM733/EN733 650B rims with glossy finish. Do you like UD glossy or 3K glossy? There is no additional cost. For custom decal, the cost will be around USD75~90 for 2 colors. May i know your graphic design sketch? Then we can quote accordingly for you. For 2.7mm on this rim, because it is wider rim than other rims. For wider rims, they can have bigger offset to get spokes more balanced between drive side and non drive side. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi Igor, Thanks for your inquiry! For AM733 rims(40mm outer/33.6mm inner) and AM740 rims(46mm outer/40mm inner), they are both good for E-mtb bike. May i know your tire width please? Then we can check which rim is better for you. Normally, we use heavy duty version for E-bikes. It is around 50g added on each rim. Is it your E-bike mid-motor or hub motor? What is your hubs brand and dimension as below? For spoke caculation, it needs hubs specs. Then we can get the spoke length for your reference. - Internal hole rim or external hole rim - Hub manufacturer name and model - Hole count - Front and rear axle width - Straight pull or J-bend? Hello Ryan, Thanks for your inquiry. The strongest spokes that can be used on our rims are double butted 2/1.8/2mm. The industry nine 2.9/2.7 butted spokes are too stiff to use with carbon rims. It is not allowed to be used on our rims or there is no warranty. Can you change to double butted 2/1.8/2mm spokes? Thanks, Lightbicycle
