TECH

Our 34mm wide AM728 rims have become our most popular asymmetric product thanks to its versatility. The 28mm inner width offers a wide and stable tire profile for your enduro tires, without becoming square-edged. You can easily get away with running 2.2’s or 2.5’s, but 2.3” - 2.4” tires are the sweet spot. The EN version has an extra wrap of 3k carbon fiber around the nipple bed, and reinforced sidewalls support G-Out forces, and increased rim stiffness, increasing suitability for aggressive riders over 200 pounds.

More air volume, a wider stance, and the bead seat retention system will keep your tires in place on race day and provide an incredibly solid tubeless platform. Wheel stiffness is further increased with a deep profile, allowing for cornering and charging through rough terrain with more speed and confidence than ever before.

Zack : Upgrade to LB rims after raving review from fellow riders and wasn't disappointed. Rims stayed true despite 2 crashes, with 1 puncturing the tyres even with an insert. Patient and prompt superb service as I went for a custom wheelset with DT240EXP and upgraded 54T. Looking forward to my next wheelset for a new project

Hi. I'm looking at the dt swiss 240s hubs for a build. Can you supply them set up for a 20mm front axle on the 100mm width hub (no boost), and how much extra would it be to upgrade to the 36 or 54 tooth star ratchet?

Light-Bicycle 2016/09/26

Rene 2016/08/17

hi i have these rims with boost hubs and i would like to mount a 2,8 tire (schwalbe nobby nic), ist that posible or i need a wider rim, if i need a wider rim i need a 40/33,6 is enougth? or i will need a plus rim, is a ibis HD3 plus farme but suports only 2,8

Light-Bicycle 2016/08/18

Hello Rene, Thanks for your inquiry. The recommend tires width for AM728 are 2.1''-2.7''. If you like to mount a 2.8'' tire, then go with the EN733. It will work with 2.3''-3.1'' tires well. And 40mm width is much wider and stronger. Thanks, Light-bicycle
