RIM SPECS
TECH
With a stable 27mm inner width, U-shaped profile, and strong hookless design, the AM627 (RM26C03) provides an incredibly durable platform.
Versatility is the name of the game. The rim mounts 2.1” to 2.5” tires and tackles a huge range of terrain - all with the playfulness that only a 26” bike can provide. The EN layup has an extra wrap of 3k carbon fiber around the nipple bed, reinforced sidewalls to support G-out forces, and increased rim stiffness, increasing suitability for aggressive riders over 200 pounds. The AM627 features our new U-shaped profile, bead seat bumps, and a tubeless ready setup that is up for whatever the mountain brings.

Kurt : I’m a long time mtb fan, but have been expanding into other disciplines over the last few years. On the 13th May 2023 I raced at the Seven Gravel Race in Nannup, Western Australia, and placing 17 out of 99 finishers in my category (male; 40-44). Cool thing is I did it on a 26 mtb!

David : The wheels arrived last Tuesday, quick service. They are really beautiful, well finished and true. I had to buy different valves, the Stans 35mm valves are too short for the deep rim and I now have 44mm valves. Here is a photograph of the bike now, I love the three levels of carbon weave, frame, fork and wheel. The wheels have made a big difference, the bike is smoother over rough ground and turns better.
