Update: We already updated the clincher hooked rim to clincher hookless rim since October 31, 2014.
Most of rims specifications are the same between hooked and hookless rims. But there are slightly different, especially for the ERD and the inner width.

For Downhill version, we add much more carbon fiber to make the rim strong enough. So the weight is heavier than All Mountain version. It is around 440+/-15g.

It is a improved rim based our past experience. We are sure it will become a popular am rims and mountain bikes downhill rim.

If you are light-weight rider, like XC riding, light rim and rims with bead hook, you can choose this 26er bicycle rim RM26C02 :wider mtb 26er carbon bike rim 26 inch rims tubeless-compatible >>

  • Manufacturing process
Our air bladders are made from a special material which produces smoother walls, result in a lighter rim, and are completely removed without harsh chemicals. They are removed through the valve hole with a unique process so that the rim does not have to be patched like traditional manufacturers use. This significantly improves the strength of the rims. Read More about our process
  • Precise layup
Each rim carries its own layup schedule documents which are followed meticulously by the layup workers. Our Engineering team creates a unique fiber orientation which amplifies the desired riding characteristics for a given rim.
  • Angled Holes
Angled spoke holes allows the nipple to pull straight in line with the spoke for reduced stress. This results in fewer broken spokes and nipples.
  • Bead lock
The small ridges on either side of the drop channel help secure tubeless tires in place. The bead lock makes it easier to seal up tubeless tires with a floor pump, and they are incredibly hard to burp.
  • Tubeless
While the rims are optimized for a tubeless setup with the addition of tubeless tape, they also work with tubes.
  • Hookless
Carbon fiber flows continuously over the bead area to provide the best impact resistance and a significant strength increase compared to a clincher rim.
  • T700
Constructed with premium Toray T700 carbon fiber. The best strength to weight ratio with no expense spared.

David Ford : The wheels arrived last Tuesday, quick service. They are really beautiful, well finished and true. I had to buy different valves, the Stans 35mm valves are too short for the deep rim and I now have 44mm valves. Here is a photograph of the bike now, I love the three levels of carbon weave, frame, fork and wheel. The wheels have made a big difference, the bike is smoother over rough ground and turns better.

Guy Lyon : Lots of red, for danger! Santa Cruz Blur LT Carbon now with LB 26" wheels. Got the whole wheelset delivered, build was great. Very light, very stiff!

I prefer to wait until you got this rims in Euro warehouse. As I read, shipping from this warehouse is free, instead $90 from China warehouse. Best regards

Hi Team, I'm a big fan of your wheels , and currently run the RM26C03 (33mm width / non HD). I'm looking to fit Schwalbe Procore to protect the rims and run lower pressures without burping the tyres. Have you done any testing of Procore on these rims, and are they able to take 6 bar of pressure? Thanks, Callan
LightBicycle : (2017-12-28)
Hello Callan, Thanks for your support. For the Procore system, we do not have a lot of testing information on it, but so far the customers we've heard from say it's working. Personally, I think our 33mm rims do not have tire burping issues. The larger issue is with g-outs, not impacts from too low of pressure (generally speaking), so I am not sure if Procore is super beneficial. For inner chamber, it can work with 4-6 bar. It will be better if you go with 4bar. For outer chamber, you can try 0.8-1.5 bar. Thanks, Lightbicycle

What is the tire size for the listed max pressure? Interested in running these rims on a dirt jump bike for cruiser class BMX racing, and hoping to get closer to 65/70psi. Is that possible?
LightBicycle : (2017-08-09)
Hi Crabby, For all our mtb rims, it can hold to 75psi. The rim strength is okay. But we are worring the tires will blow out if you ride around 65/70psi while cornoring. It is better to ride less than 40psi on these rims. Is your bike BMX? We only hear about 20" BMX bikes. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello, Your RIM ar only with valve PRESTA (small valve) ? it is possible with valve SHRADER (big valve) ? thank's for your response.
LightBicycle : (2017-04-14)
Hi Francois, Thanks for your inquiry. Normally, our rim is drilled with PRESTA valve directly, but we can manufacture the rim with SHRADER valve for you also. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hey LB, i was wondering if the RM26C03 will come with angled holes? Thanks, Martin
LightBicycle : (2017-03-28)
Hello Martin, Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, the RM26C03 is drilled with angle hole ( /-6 degree). Picture attached for your reference. Angled spoke holes allows the nipple to pull straight in line with the spoke for reduced stress. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi. I am planning to buy the heavy duty version of this RM26CO03. Please let me know the ERD of the heavy duty carbon rim so I can determine the right length os spokes. Thank you
Light-Bicycle : (2016-04-25)
Hi Winston, For the RM26CO03 with heavy duty, the ERD is 515mm. We will add more carbon materials to the wall thickness to reinforce the heavy duty version. The ERD are the same for the AM and HD version. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello, I currently own a pair of Industry 9 Torch Trail 32h 26in Alum and I'm looking to swap the rims to wider carbon rims. I like the Torch hubs and color spokes and was wondering if I can still use the same spokes with the RM26C03 rim. I don't know enough about what the correct spoke lenght is. The Torch Trail rims are 534mm ERD and I think the spokes length 266mm (I think). Thanks!
Light-Bicycle : (2016-04-05)
Hello Ivan, Thanks for your inquiry. Sorry for the late reply. We were on vacation last 3 days. For our RM26C03 rim, it is with 515mm ERD. For spoke length, it will be also different if the lacing is different. So, you can check below link to get correct spoke length. http://www.prowheelbuilder.com/spokelengthcalculator/ You only have to fill in rim ERD:515mm, and choose the hubs and the lacing pattern you like. Then you will get the spoke length. Thanks, Lightbicycle
Jeff : (2017-06-12)
Ivan, did you ever find a wider carbon rim that would work with your existing I9 Torch hubs and spokes with the 534 ERD? If so, do you mind telling me which ones you found? Thanks!
LightBicycle : (2017-06-13)
Hi Jeff, If you use the 26er downhill riding, I recommend you 38mm wide 26er heavy duty rim which is more durable and specially designed for downhill riding. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi, Powerful former track sprinter (102kg) here. I'm doing some aggressive 4x/bmx style hardtail riding. I have yet to find an alloy rim not getting taco-shaped within a few days... Which rim would you guys recommend? I need quick acceleration, therefore thinking about the 33mm - but extra strong? What would the delivery time be?
Light-Bicycle : (2016-03-22)
Hello Meta, Thanks for your inquiry. According to your details, we’d like to recommend our new BMX rim. Rim profile attached for reference. RM20C01 (BSD 406mm x 32mm width): 350 /-15g, USD160/pcs RM26C03 (33mm width HD version): 465 /-15g, USD178/pcs If you ride aggressively, we can add some carbon fiber to enhance the BMX rims' strength, with a heavier weight about 50g added and a price $8 added. If you still like 33mm width rim, our 33mm width heavy duty is a great choice. Thanks, Lightbicycle
Meta : (2016-03-22)
Thanks for your reply! However, I haven't been clear enough apparently. Please excuse. I'm looking specifically for a super strong 26" rim, intended for aggressive Fourcross riding.
Light-Bicycle : (2016-03-23)
Hello Meta, If you ride quite strongly, we'd like to recommend the 38mm wide 26er HD rim. It is the strongest 26er rim we have here. Rim profile attached for reference. RM26C05 (38mm width HD): 485 /-15g, $181/pcs Thanks, Lightbicycle
