The purpose-built Helios series is designed to tackle everything Mother Nature throws your way, covering the full mountain bike spectrum from cross-country to all-mountain, downhill, and enduro. For those seeking a superlight XC race machine, we offer Helios XC928 and Helios XC930, available in two popular internal width options: 28mm and 30mm. If conquering big all-mountain rides and long-distance trail riding is your goal, the Helios AM930 is the ultimate weapon. The Helios EN932 delivers performance specific to the needs of Enduro bikers, while the Helios DH932 fills in the gaps for riders who enjoy the freedom and fun of downhill & electric biking.
Legendary Lightness & Uncompromising Stiffness
From gram-counting XC and marathon rides to sturdy and reliable all-mountain and Enduro racing, the theme of the updated Helios series is no compromise—delivering superb XC lightness combined with built-in Enduro toughness. Weighing just 238g, the Helios XC928 achieves unprecedented weight savings and ranks among the lightest XC rims on the market. At the same time, the Helios DH932 sets a new standard for durability with an ultra-high 165J impact resistance score. Whatever your choice, the all-around Helios series inspires confidence in every condition, course, and discipline.
All five wheel designs share some similarities, such as a shallower profile, but differ in layup, bead wall, and geometry. The Helios EN932, for example, is specifically engineered with a reinforced structure to withstand the demands of Enduro adventures, featuring a 3.6mm-wide rim bead for added strength, reduced risk of pinch flats, and lower tire pressures for enhanced traction and control.
Tubeless Tapeless Technology
The revamped Helios series offers a UST setup option (compatible only with 12mm flat-head nipples). This innovative tapeless tubeless technology allows spokes to attach to the rim without drilling the rim bed, avoiding structural damage to the carbon fibers and significantly improving rim strength and durability.
PS: With the UST setup, no tape is required, which results in a weight saving of 20g-30g, crucial to the gram-counting XC rides.
High-End Impact-Resistant Material
Built on the legacy of our previous generations of MTB wheels and our 14 years of expertise, the Helios series represents an evolution of our technology, utilizing high-tech materials for maximum athletic performance, including advanced impact-resistant composites, to absorb impacts. Their shock absorption properties elevate your riding experience to new heights.
In the pre-order phase, we offer complete wheelsets with several hub and spoke options. These include ultra-light builds paired with Nonplus hubs and Berd spokes, and the most popular option laced to DT Swiss hubs with Sapim CX-Ray spokes.
