With Access Holes: This is the traditional method. Spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel to allow the nipples to easily be fed through the rim. Tubeless tape is required to seal the rim.

No Access Holes: No spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel. Feeding the nipples through the rim is more challenging, but it allows for a tubeless setup without the need for tape. This kind of system is known as "road tubeless" and was made popular by Mavic. Some companies still refer to it as "UST style", however, UST is actually a specific interface between the tire and rim which was developed by a partnership between Mavic, Michelin, and Hutchinson.

Currently, rims with 'No Access Holes' do not work with our carbon spokes.

Drain Hole This is a required option.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

2. Full Custom - Add some additional personalization and go full custom with your rim graphics! Laser engraving is available in one colour (light grey) and starts at $5 USD per rim. Valve Stem This is a required option.

We use a lightweight black alloy anodized valves with an oversized concave collar for easy gripping. A rubber o-ring goes in between the rim and the collar to help seal the rim and match the contour of the rim profile. The valve core is removable so you can add sealant without removing your tire.

Overview

The WR35 650b fills the blank in our Falcon Pro lineup in 650b sector, and was built with one goal in mind: making the best rim possible for long distance gravel racing or riding.
With a massive 25mm inner diameter, the WR35 650b provides a stable profile for even the widest gravel tires.
Thanks to its mid-depth profile, the WR35 650b is deep enough to provide aerodynamic help when riding alone across gravel plains, but not so deep that is hard to control in crosswinds.

Mikael : Light Bicycle wheelset in snowy Helsinki! Falcon Pro 650b WR65 rims with Sapim spokes on DT350 hubs shod with Suomi Tyres Routa TLR. These wheels transformed the ride of my Rondo bike: the steering is more precise plowing through snowdrifts, and there's a new snappiness to accelerations. The studded tires were extremely easy to set up tubeless on the WR65 no-holes rims -- it was impossible with my old wheels! My old aluminum rims corroded and cracked from riding in the freezing cold with road salt, but Light Bicycle assured me carbon rims with brass nipples are impervious to Finnish winters. Looking forward to many years and 1000's of kms!
