Hookless is for those who are running wider tires, lower pressures, or are riding on rougher roads. You will benefit from a more comfortable ride due to the higher volume and increased impact protection. Gravel riders and cyclocross riders are often in this situation.
Both hook and hookless rims are built using the same dimensions and materials.

We name this kind of superior finish the paintless.

Full Custom: This option offers custom finish such as Satin/Raw etc at no extra charge but subject to rim models with 3~5 days LONGER on manufacture. And custom color painting is also available with added 15g/rim and extra $20USD/rim as a start. Center Channel Hole This is a required option.
With Access Holes: This is the traditional method. Spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel to allow the nipples to easily be fed through the rim. Tubeless tape is required to seal the rim.
No Access Holes: No spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel. Feeding the nipples through the rim is more challenging, but it allows for a tubeless setup without the need for tape. This kind of system is known as "road tubeless" and was made popular by Mavic. Some companies still refer to it as "UST style", however, UST is actually a specific interface between the tire and rim which was developed by a partnership between Mavic, Michelin, and Hutchinson.
Currently, rims with 'No Access Holes' do not work with our carbon spokes.

Drain Hole This is a required option.
The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.
It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.
Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

Apply Tubeless Tape: In Light Bicycle, a proprietary taping aid works with our wheel builders to guarantee that a solid taping craft at industrial-level is well implemented in order for you to ride carefree tubeless at any conditions.

For Pro Series Rims: From the date of purchase, 5-year Pro Warranty as standard and an upgraded optional lifetime Premium Warranty with minimum charge.
Crash Replacement: It is applicable with the same period as the warranty time range that you purchased for the rims with 10% /25% discount for Non-Pro series /Pro series.

Hi, I have previously purchased a set of LB wheels earlier this year and I'm not satisfied with them, they are not wide enough for the tire size I use. Invoice number 98018 I would like to replace the rims with wider ones but keep the rest of the parts. My build used 28h rear hubs, do you have any rims that could work with the rest of my build? Thank you

Hi Charles, It is okay to order wider rims 700C but still using your current hubs. For spokes, maybe you will have to use new ones(the spoke length should be different. Which wider rims/wheels do you like to order? Thanks, Lightbicycle
