RIM SPECS
TECH
Turbo rims feature a 25mm internal width, 32mm external width, and a maximum width of 34.4mm, making them ideal for mainstream 28c and 30c tire sizes. The measured width of labeled 28c and 30c tires usually ranges from 30mm to 34mm. When paired with these tires, the Turbo rims' rim width adheres to the 105% rule of thumb.
The aero advantage of the Turbo wheels comes from their shape and rim depth. The smooth curvature of the rim sidewall reduces air drag and enhances crosswind stability, similar to our tested and proven X-Flow profile. The rim shape also enhances lateral stiffness, making the wheel more responsive during acceleration. The 40mm depth is designed for all road use with better handling in crosswinds. The Turbo series also features 50mm, 65mm, and 78mm depth.
The carbon rims are available in 21H for 2:1 lacing and 24H for steel spoke builds. Feel free to customize your Turbo 40 wheels.

Christopher : I finally mounted the tires and got a chance to ride the wheels!
Aside from the built-perfection, I was very impressed with how easy it was to mount the tires. I got some new Pirelli P ZERO Race RS TLR tires in 32mm to go with the new wheels. They snapped on easily, and I had them on without sealant for a few days to see how they held air. What can I say? After two days, they still held nearly 4 bar (I mounted them at 5 bar). At 4 bar, the 32mm tires measure 34mm, so it’s a perfect match with the Falcon Turbos!
On my first ride, I did some activation efforts and set new personal bests on two ~7-minute climbs. Last weekend, the wheels had their real first outing. I participated in the Glocknerkönig, a public race up the highest mountain pass in Austria (total 27km with 1670 meters of elevation gain, most of which comes after the first false flat 10k, so basically 17km at an average gradient of ~9% to finish at 2428m). This was my first participation, and I had never done such a long climb or reached that altitude before, so there were a lot of unknowns. However, I paced myself well and came close to my target of finishing in under 2 hours (I finished at 2:00:45). I know that climbing is not the ideal setting for the Falcon Pros, but they performed wonderfully.
So all I want to say is thank you for making such beautiful and fast wheels!

Stefan : The wheels arrived in perfect condition, well wrapped and packaged. Very happy with my pair of Turbo 40D! They are a very good match with Continental GP5000 700x32: once mounted, they are almost flush with the rim and therefore better aero (tires measured at 33mm, rim width according to specs is 34.4mm). According to the configurator, they weigh 1310.88g, and on my scale of truth, I weighted them at 1304g :)
I could already test them and they are light, fast, reactive, and manage cross wind quite well too (you feel the initial push of the gust of wind, then it's like it gets dissipated very quickly instead of feeling the wind pressure being kept applied).
