Whether you're sprinting for primes or tackling a 200 mile gravel epic, the versatile RR56C02 is up for the challenge.
  • Manufacturing process
Our air bladders are made from a special material which produces smoother walls, result in a lighter rim, and are completely removed without harsh chemicals. They are removed through the valve hole with a unique process so that the rim does not have to be patched like traditional manufacturers use. This significantly improves the strength of the rims. • Tubeless ready
beadlock design making this light weight road rims better tubeless setup and better sealing.
  • Aerodynamic profile
Improved aerodynamic design for a better crosswind protection.
  • Wider
Idea for wider tyres, disc brake equipped road bikes, road races, gravel races and cyclocross.
  • Angled Holes
Angled spoke holes allows the nipple to pull straight in line with the spoke for reduced stress. This results in fewer broken spokes and nipples.
  • Precise Layup
Each rim carries its own layup schedule documents which are followed meticulously by the layup workers. Our Engineering team creates a unique fiber orientation which amplifies the desired riding characteristics for a given rim. The disc rim features a separate layup that removes access material to create the lightest rim possible without compromising its strength.
  • T700
Constructed with premium Toray T700 carbon fiber. The best strength to weight ratio with no expense spared.

Are you gonna release shallower rims with the same width specs? I am looking for ~40mm depth. Is it possible to mix hubs? Like front dt350 and rear dt240
LightBicycle : (2018-07-07)
Dear Perttu, 1. If you are looking for wider and shallower road disc rims. Maybe our RR46C02 (28mm wide, 46mm deep) /RR36C02 (28mm wide, 36mm deep) will be a better fit. You can see the rim profile from the attachment. 2. We can build a wheelset with mixed hubs. LB can satisfied customers with almost any kind of customized request. But rarely have customer would ask for mixed hubs configuration. Here's an example quote for your ref. Let me know if you want any amendment. Wheelset WR46C02 is USD885.6/pair with below specs --Rims: RR36C02, 28mm wide, 36mm deep, UD, matte, 24H, no brake surface, hooked --Hubs: Front: black DT Swiss 350, 15*100mm, straight pull, center lock Rear: Black DT Swiss 240s, 12*142mm, straight pull, center lock --Spokes Black Sapim CX-Ray, straight pull --Nipples: black alloy Thanks, Lightbicycle

When building these rims into a wheelset, do you recommend the use of nipple washers?
LightBicycle : (2018-06-27)
Hi Ryan, Normally, we do not use nipple washers while building wheels. Our spoke hole strength is durable enough. If you do not mind weight added, it is okay to use nipple washers. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello, I would like to ask whether a flyweight version is planned such as t700 and T700, or something similar?
LightBicycle : (2018-06-25)
Dear Markus, For disc version, actually we make the rims weight lighter using similar to flyweight layup. It is 30g lighter than non disc version. Do you prefer much lighter version? disc or non disc? Thanks, Lightbicycle
Markus : (2018-06-25)
Hello, I would be interested in a much lighter Version such as Flyweight combination of T700 and T800 Carbon. My configuration would be as following: 12x100,12x142, disc Thx
LightBicycle : (2018-06-28)
Hi Markus, We sent you the road disc wheelset quotation to your email. Have you got it? Thanks, Lightbicycle

A couple of questions please: 1. Would these be ok with 25c tyres or 28c? 2. Are you planning to make them any shallower? I.e. 38mm ish? Thank you
LightBicycle : (2018-06-23)
Hi Mark, 1. The recommended tire width for RR56C02 is 28~48mm. 2. If you want a shallower rim with a wider profile, we have RR36C02 (28mm wide, 36mm deep) might be a better-suit for you. Will you be interested in those rims? The recommended tire width for RR36C02 is 25~48mm Thanks, Lightbicycle
