Pillar PSR X-TRA 1420 - An inexpensive bladed spoke, great for road and cyclocross riding.

With Access Holes: This is the traditional method. Spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel to allow the nipples to easily be fed through the rim. Tubeless tape is required to seal the rim.

No Access Holes: No spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel. Feeding the nipples through the rim is more challenging, but it allows for a tubeless setup without the need for tape. This kind of system is known as "road tubeless" and was made popular by Mavic. Some companies still refer to it as "UST style", however, UST is actually a specific interface between the tire and rim which was developed by a partnership between Mavic, Michelin, and Hutchinson.

Currently, rims with 'No Access Holes' do not work with our carbon spokes.

Drain Hole This is a required option.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

1. Grey Laser Engraving (Falcon Pro) - Our laser engraving technology is eco-friendly and adds a snappy, polished aesthetic to your new rims.
Please note: Contrary to rims with any coated/painted finishes (matte, glossy and satin) as well as Crystal Painting, laser engraving could work with paintless rims only.

2. Full Custom - Add some additional personalization and go full custom with your rim graphics! Laser engraving is available in one colour (light grey) and starts at $5 USD per rim. If you select this option, LEAVE YOUR REQUEST IN QUOTES IN THE NOTES AT CHECKOUT. For example: "I need my personalized logo printed" or "Just text 'ABC racing' ". Valve Stem This is a required option.

We use a lightweight black alloy anodized valves with an oversized concave collar for easy gripping. A rubber o-ring goes in between the rim and the collar to help seal the rim and match the contour of the rim profile. The valve core is removable so you can add sealant without removing your tire.

The WR38 was built with one goal in mind: the absolute best long distance gravel rim. The massive 25mm inner width provides a stable profile for even the widest gravel tires. At 38mm deep, you get an aerodynamic benefit without making it hard to control in crosswinds. With a 32 or 28 spoke hole count, the WR38 makes an excellent bike packing or touring rim.

Kyle : Light bicycle is the real deal! The customer service is really unheard of in todays day and age! They were transparent and honest in the time I had to wait and provided status updates multiple time thru the build process. This is my first wheel set from them and am already considering another set of 650s! My skepticism of too good to be true was pleasantly proved wrong! They suggested some changes to my initial build such as spoke count and rims style based on my weight and riding style. My second ride on my carbon kona libre was very rocky and fast and I was a little nervous how they would hold up after some big rock drops… perfect! Obviously I would recommend them a hundred times over. If your a skeptic like me just do it! You won’t be disappointed!
