Quick wheelset question. I'm looking at the 29" EN932 vs EN933 rim. EN932 is listed at 500g and the EN933 is listed at 510g. Complete Wheelset Build: -Hope Hubs (boost front and rear. XD driver) -Sapim D Light Spokes I've "built" the wheelsets using identical builds (hub and spoke choice) using both the EN933 and EN932 rims. My issue is this: With EN932 the wheelset comes in at 1755g With EN933 the wheelset comes in at 1835g How can there be such a difference if the only thing changed out is the rim? The rims are listed as only having a 10g difference between them. Should be a 20g difference, not a 80g difference. So, which do you think is the accurate measurement? Trying to decide between the two wheelsets, but I don't want the weight to sway me towards the EN932 if one of those measurements isn't accurate. If I'm a 205lb, aggressive rider, is it worth the extra $242 to go with the EN932 build or is the EN933 more than up to the task? I'm using CushCore, so I'm not too worried about rim strikes. Thank you for any info you can give me on this. Brian

Hi Brian, EN932 29er wheelset is just released on website and thank you for you help to find out the weight problem. We just have our website administrator to work on the caculator and solve the problem ASAP. AM933/EN933 wheelset weight is correct. For EN932 wheelset, it is just 20g lighter than EN933 wheelset. Sorry for the confusion. For recon and recon pro difference, you can check on below link. Recon rims are with new technologies, more duralbe and longer warranty service. https://www.lightbicycle.com/newsletter/differences-briefings-for-recon-pro---recon.html Thanks, Lightbicycle

Are the new style LB vinyl rim decals available for sale? I only see the old style decals available for sale on the website. Thank you, Joseph

Hi Darren, I will recommend you our RR56C02 (30mm wide, 56mm deep) for you. It's one of our best-sellers, strong and aero, and will compatible with your frame. Recommended tire width 28c~50c. Angus 2019/02/06

Hi, I am interested in getting a quote for a 700C carbon clincher wheelset (non disc brake). I had a couple of questions. 1. I was interested in getting a deeper back wheel (46-56mm) and a smaller front (30-36mm). Do you do this and if so which wheels would you normally suggest? 2. I cannot seem to locate the specs for my bikes front and rear axle (it is a Giant TCR advanced 2012/2013 - non disc brake)). Which skewers do I need? 3. The bike does not have disc brakes but the form on your website seems to require me to select either 6 bolt or centerlock. Something seems to have gone wrong! 4. Vale stems - do I need to buy more - presumably enough come with the wheelset? 5. Do you have any further photos of the white/stealth decals on the deep wheel sets. I could only see a couple of photos. 6. I will need shipping to the UAE (Dubai). Is this included in the price? 7. Do you have insurance on the shipping process of the wheels? Kind regards Angus

LightBicycle 2019/02/07

Hi Angus, Thanks for your inquiry! Please find our reply as below. 1. Yes, it is okay to build front RR36C02(28mm wide/36mm deep)/ rear RR46C02(28mm wide/46mm deep). This combination is really popular. May i know your tire width? Then we can check whether there is better wheelset for you. What hubs do you like for your wheelset? DT Swiss 240s or 350? 2. For non disc, the skewers size are front 100mm* QR/ rear 130mm*QR, shimano road 11S 3. I think you pick "disc" version hubs. For non disc, there is no 6-bolt or center lock option. Please choose non disc, front 100mm* QR/ rear 130mm*QR specs for your wheelset. 4. For valve stems, you have to buy two for wheelset. It does not come with wheelset normally, it is not free. So, you just need to buy 2pcs. Then it is enough. 5. Yes, we have white/stealth pictures for road wheels. Please as below for your reference. We are not in office, so can only find pictures on website for your check. When we are back to work on Feb 12th, we can email you more pictures if you like. white decal on rim: https://www.lightbicycle.com/Road-bicycle-rims-30mm-wide-56mm-deep-aero-clincher-road-disc-brake-available.html stealth decal on rim: https://www.lightbicycle.com/Road-bicycle-rims-28mm-wide-46mm-deep-aero-clincher-road-disc-brake-available.html 6. The wheelset price does not include shipping cost. The shipping cost is USD134 for one wheelset to UAE by EMS delivery, and it is USD197 by DHL delivery. DHL is much faster. 7. For shipping, it is under insurance. If the package is lost or get damage during shipping, we can arrange new shipping for you. Don't worry. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi I'm wondering if I can get this wheelset with a 45mm front wheel? and in the lightest rims in there size? LightBicycle 2019/01/02

Hi Vincent, As you know, LB rims are all handmade, so there's a tolerance weight range to every rim. But we will do our best to make the non-disc RRU45C02 (45mm deep) under 475g. Will this be ok with you? And also, for road bike rims with brake surface, it is not very good to make the rim weight too light. It will affect the braking performance. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Peter 2018/09/24

Hello, I am looking for a price for 2x RR56C02 shipped to the Netherlands. Is it possible more me to build them with DT-Swiss Alpine III spokes? They are 2.0/1.8/2.34 and I will be ordering a 20h front rim and 24h rear rim. These are for track wheels so no braking forces (except pedaling backwards) and I'm trying to build as stiff as possible. I think I had read one of your comments that there will be deeper versions of this model soon. Will it be before end of 2018 and do you know which depths will be offered? Also with the 23 internal width is it possible to use Continental 4000s ii in 23mm or 25mm because they end up being much larger than their stated sizes. On narrower rims the 23's become around 25mm and the 25's around 28mm. I am also debating custom graphics. I can provide the vector image files to use and it will just be 1 colour. Do you still do the permanent graphics under the clear coat? I don't want vinyl. Please let me know the cost with and without. Thank you Peter

LightBicycle 2018/09/25

Hi, Peter 1. Sorry that we cannot purchase the spokes you ask for (DT-Swiss Alpine III ).Most people use bladed spokes for the aerodynamics. Would you care to share the reason why you want to use the DT Alpine III spokes in particular? If you prefer round spokes, we do provide DT Swiss spokes like DT competition race and DT competition spokes. Will these spokes work for you? We can discuss more by mail. 2. The measurements of our rims are quite accurate. the mold tolerance must around +/-0.15mm, tolerance for complete rims is +/-0.2mm. Else the rim won't pass the QC. So if you buy a 23mm wide rims, you will get a 23mm rim with a limited tolerance. You can come back to us if the width is out of the range. 3. Yes, we still make custom waterslide decals for our customers. It's about USD78 for one or two colors. Do you mind to send me the sketch so I can quote accordingly? 4. We don't have the plan to make a deeper version rim for RR56C02 (30mm wide, 56mm deep) yet. Do you have any suggestion on this? Would you care to share with us so we can see if it's dorable? Thanks Lightbicycle

Lance 2018/09/18

Hello, I really like the new compare button, but what is the difference between AM and Enduro?

LightBicycle 2018/09/19

Hi, Lance Glad to hear that you like our new changes. Regarding your inquiry about the difference between the AM version and EN version. The main difference between AM and EN is that enduro version is with some more carbon fiber material added, it will be stronger for big riders or who rides aggressively. Which rims are you interested in? If you don't have anything in mind yet. Maybe we can make some recommendations for you if you like. First of all, I need to learn more about your riding to know what rims/wheels are good for you. We can discuss further etails by mail. 1. Are you an aggressive rider or heavy rider? If so, the enduro version (or Heavy Duty in some models' case) will be a better fit for you. 2. What tire width you use? 3. What is the terrain you mostly ride on? Thanks Lightbicycle
