Justinas 2024/01/04

Hey! Looking for lightweight wheels for my fatbike. 27,5 or 26 (there is space for 27,5 but if it would be lighter with 26, so I could take that) rear axle 12x197mm and for the front 15x150mm. Best wishes, Justinas

LightBicycle 2024/01/05

Hi Justinas, Thanks for reaching out! We have sent you an email to discuss further specs and the requirements. Please check it and let us know if you have any further questions. Best Regards Light Bicycle

When you say 8 - 10 psi that pertains just to trail riding, correct? Is it okay to run them at 3 - 5 psi in the snow?

LightBicycle 2018/12/11

Hi Mike, Typically, fat-bike riders use pressures in the 8PSI range for soft conditions, 12-15PSI for trail riding and 20-25PSI for on-road or urban riding. For FS680 single wall rim, it is okay to ride tubeless. If you ride tubeless, it is better to make sure the tire pressure is 8psi or above. We do the tubeless test here and use rim tape to cover holes completely. It rides with tubeless tire perfectly. If you like to ride 3~5PSI, you have to use tires with tube(not tubeless tire) to prevent from air leaking. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Are the single wall fat bike rims made for trail riding? Ok off small/medium drops etc? Or too fragile?

LightBicycle 2018/10/16

Hi Ethan, According to our lab tesing results. The single wall rim FS680 fat bike rim is strong enough for trail riding and small jumps. The tire is big, so the fatbike wheel will be strong. Remenber that the tire presure should keep between 8~10psi. Thanks, Lightbicycle
