RM29C06 Review: 29er Wheels, Trek MTB
COMMENTS
Ed 2018/04/02
Hi Todd: Thanx for posting. Planing to buy a 29er and need some wheels. I am currently riding 27 (inner) and 30 mm (outer) with 2.35 Hans Dampf. Everyone rides/buys extra wide rims. I demo-ed a Ibis with 938 (38 mm outside width) with Nobby Nic 2.35 - which seems super soft. What is your recommendation? Go with 30-34 mm (out width) when riding 2.3 or go with the federleights? Thanx Ed

Hi Ed, Usually, 2.35" tires are very suitable for the outer width between 30~34mm. If you are not an aggressive rider or heavy rider, you can check out the AM928 (34mm wide) or RM29C19 (30mm wide). See which fits you better. If you want to purchase wheelset built with AM928, you need to send the wheelset configuration detail to me so I can create an invoice for you. Lightbicycle

I had them built up and installed this evening and took them out for a night ride tonight. The stability is crazy good on these bad boys! Thanks for all of your help!
