The 31.6mm internal width works well with high volume tires and the wide bead seat helps to prevent tire burping on tubeless setups. These imposing rims have a 32mm depth so you will get a very responsive wheel that can hold it’s line through rough terrain.

For really aggressive riders or those using the bike park from time to time, we have an HD version. The HD version receives an extra wrap of 3k carbon fiber for additional wall thickness and reinforcement so they can handle G-outs better than the normal version.

Hello Scott, Thanks for your inquiry. The max weight limit for WM29C14 all mountain wheels is 140g. Don’t worry, the weight limit is just an approximate estimation. If you take normal all mountain & enduro riding, the AM version is strong enough for your riding. If you ride aggressively (with lots of big jumps), please go with HD version. The HD version has extra layers for increased stiffness and sidewall reinforcement. Ideal for large and aggressive riders. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Or is that the weight limit with the heavy duty build? My riding weight (with gear/camelbak etc) is 92kg. So I just want to be sure which is the right build for me. Thanks.

I wish to get these wheels.Black everything, but I'm not sure what kind of spoke to get, I prefer strength over weight, I a heavy rider that is influenced by the downhill racers so I"m after strength. I want straight pull hubs, but I don't know what the strongest spokes to buy? can you help me out in that regard?

Hello Joe, We are able to build the 29er wheels with black hubs/ spokes/ nipples. If you ride quite aggressively, then go with the 38mm wide HD version and DT competition straight pull spokes. The HD version has extra layers for increased stiffness and sidewall reinforcement. Ideal for large and aggressive riders. Thanks, Light-bicycle

Hi, I'm ordering a wheelset 29C14 38mm rims, front QR/100mm and rear QR135mm. 6 bolt brake, shimano Freehub, DT spokes. The only DT option the web site ordering is giving is DT 240s Hubs. Can I order with DT350 hubs in that configuration instead? What is the price difference?

That is why we won’t upload this option on our website. But we can order from DT Swiss China agent.
