Jeremy 2022/07/07

Hi ! Is there a Flyweight version available of this rim? (non disc, grooved graphene brake track) If so, what would be it's weight? Thanks a lot ! Jérémy

LightBicycle 2022/07/07

Hi Jeremy, It is okay to customize lighter version of AR46 rim brake 700C for you. May i know your weight and riding style? Then we can check how much weight of the rim can be for your riding. Thanks, Lightbicycle

LightBicycle 2022/07/08

Hi Jeremy, Yes, we can make a lighter version of AR46 700C road disc. The flyweight version is 430g But the lightweight version is not for everyone. So can you tell me your riding condition and your weight? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Erik 2020/08/14

Hi, Can you do custom spoke holes? I need a 22 hole rim. Thanks, Erik

LightBicycle 2020/08/15

Hi Erik, It is okay to manufacture bike rim with 22 hole. Do you like RR46C02 rim brake rim? For 22H, are all spoke holes evenly spaced on the rim? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello, What is the ERD of AR46 Rim? Thank you https://www.lightbicycle.com/Road-bicycle-rims-28mm-wide-46mm-deep-aero-clincher-road-rim-brake-available.html

LightBicycle 2020/06/30

Hi Joshua, You can find ERD data from the "SPECS" section on every rim/wheelset page. For the AR46 (28mm wide, 46mm deep)28mm wide wheels, the ERD is 548mm (not including nipple head dimension). You can find Calculating ERD on below link also. https://www.lightbicycle.com/support/technology Thanks, Lightbicycle

MARCO 2019/10/16

I would like to build a set of AR46 700C in tubeless configuration: 1. Are the rims drilled on both sides of rim? 2. What are the spoke hole dimensions? 3. I plan to use Industry Nine Torch series hubs, 28 hole for both, with Sapim CX-Ray J bend spokes, what spoke and nipple length do I need to purchase? 4. Do I need to use rim tape to seal for tubeless? Thank you.

LightBicycle 2019/10/17

Hi Marco, Thanks for your inquiry! Please check our reply as below. 1. Do you mean the spoke holes with angle drilling left/right? Yes, it is drilled with left or right angle, to make it better for wheel building. 2. For spoke hole dimension, it is 4.5mm for external nipple, and 2.5mm for internal nipples, and 8mm spoke access holes on rim bed. 3. Is it your Industry Nine Torch hubs disc or non disc? 28H for both front and rear? Then we can calculate the spoke length accordingly for you. 4. If you choose with spoke access holes on rim bed, then you will have to use rim tape to ride tubeless. If you choose "no spoke access holes on rim bed:, then you will not have to use rim tape. Which do you prefer for RR46C02 700C bike rims? Thanks, Lightbicycle

M

MARCO 2019/11/02

My Industry Nine Torch hubs are for rim brakes, 28 holes front and rear. No spoke access holes on rim bed option. I would like to buy the rims, spokes and nipples, valve extenders for correct rim depth from you, what spoke and nipple color options do I have? Please quote. Thank you.

LightBicycle 2019/11/05

Hi Marco, 1. Yes, you can purchase these 28mm wide road rims with rim brake, spokes, and nipples only from us rather than a complete wheelset, considering you already have the hubs in hand. 2. The most popular spokes we offer is the Sapim CX-Ray, and Sapim Polyax alloy nipples to match the spokes. We sent quotation through email to you. Please check. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Mike 2019/05/27

Hi, Will you be making a flyweight version of the RR46C02? One built using BlackTek & ExoTek? Thanks

LightBicycle 2019/05/28

Hi Mike, Currently, we only have two models in the Falcon Pro series road disc rims that apply with our new technologies. WR38 (32mm wide, 38mm deep) & WR50(32mm wide, 50mm deep) Attaching with the rim profile for your ref. You can also check them out at https://www.lightbicycle.com/700C-road-bicycle-rims-32mm-wide-38mm-deep-symmetric-clincher-road-disc-brake-available.html https://www.lightbicycle.com/700C-road-bicycle-rims-25mm-internal-32mm-external-wide-50mm-deep-symmetric-clincher-road-disc-brake-available.html For RR46C02 road bike rims, they are not okay to manufactured in black Tek and Exo Tek right now. The molds are different. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Szilard 2019/02/28

Hello guys, I am planning on getting a carbon wheelset. I would be using them for fixed gear crits and in the velodrome. I am 82-85kgs. What would you recommend rim wise? I like these 46mm deep rims and was thinking to have 24 spokes at the front and 28 rear. Also do you have any track hubs you could build these rims with? Thanks for your answer! Best, Szilard

LightBicycle 2019/03/01

Hi Szilard, Yes, we have Novatec track hubs as attached. Is it what you are looking for? The price for wheelset with following specs is USD608.6/pair - Rims: RR46C02, 28mm wide/46mm deep, UD matte, front 24H/rear 28H, no brake surface(for disc) - Hubs: black Novatec track A565SBT/A566SBT, J-bend - Spokes: black sapim cx-ray bladed - Nipples: black aluminum Thanks, Lightbicycle

Sean 2019/02/21

Hi, What color are the graphics on these rims (? Are they black or grey? If grey, is there an option to just have a black Light Bicycle logo near the valve stem opening, and nothing else. Thank you! Sean

LightBicycle 2019/02/22

Hi Sean, Yes, we do have the graphic in black, we sent to your email address. And yes, we can make only the value decal for you as you like. What specs do you like to have of the rim RR46C02? You can order online and mark the decal request on the message box, or I can create an invoice for you instead. Let me know how you would like to proceed. Thanks, Lightbicycle

LightBicycle 2019/02/22

Hi Mike, Yes, you can order 32H RR46C02 road disc, we even offer 36H for people who need it. You can choose your specs by clicking the "Global" button below and start to configure your order. Chip 2019/01/24

Ideally, I would like the u shaped with a 56 deep rear and 46 deep front. Both at least 28mm external width. Is this possible? I am a heavy rider (96kl) but ride about 6000 km a year.

LightBicycle 2019/01/24

Hi Chip, It is okay to order front RR46C02/rear RR56C02 wheelset. Please find attached rim profile. RR46C02: 28mm wide/46mm deep RR56C02: 30mm wide/56mm deep What hubs and spokes do you like for wheelset? Then we can quote accordingly for you. Is it front 12*100mm/rear 12*142mm road disc? 24H or 28H? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Joshua 2018/12/19

Can these be drilled with smaller holes to suit internal spoke nipples?

LightBicycle 2018/12/20

Hi Joshua, Yes, we can make custom rims with internal nipples for you. The drilling hole diameter is 2.5mm. Then the nipples will be hidden inside the rim. Usually, we use 10mm long internal nipples. You can see the wheels built with internal nipples from the attachment. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Stinoo 2018/11/03

Hi, I'm still pondering over these rims. Is there any chance you will come out with a higher version of these? Somewhere in the 50-60mm range would be perfect. Thanks,

LightBicycle 2018/11/03

Hi Stinoo, Actually, we have this version rim in 56mm depth. Please check below information and below link. RR56C02 road disc rim: 30mm wide, 56mm depth https://www.lightbicycle.com/Road-bicycle-rims-30mm-wide-56mm-deep-aero-clincher-road-disc-brake-available.html Do you like rims only or wheelset? We have quite a few hubs option here for you if you like to build wheels. Thanks, Lightbicycle

S

Stinoo 2018/11/03

I'm running 25mm tires, the RR56C02 is getting to wide. Even the RR46C02 is already on the wide side. A 19mm inner x 27 outer would be ideal. I don't like the profile of your U rims as much, not as aero nor as lightweight.

LightBicycle 2018/11/05

Hi Stinoo, Or you can check our U shape RRU45C02 or RRU55C02 road tubeless rim profile as attached. They are 27mm at the widest area. Thanks, Lightbicycle
