Using good and fast wheels is one of the most important things for me.
I’ve been riding all types of bikes for 10 years now and love to be out in nature. I train a lot and participate in many races all over Europe, especially in the Alps.
Besides training, I am a so-called “Tech Nerd” and love to upgrade and maintain my bikes. Using good and fast wheels is one of the most important things for me. So for me, it’s logical to stick with Light Bicycle for many years now and recommend all the stuff to my friends.
My story with Light Bicycle began nine years ago.

My story with Light Bicycle began nine years ago. During those years I rode so many Light Bicycle wheelsets: R25T (Road), R45 (Road), AR36 Disc (Road + Gravel), AR45 Disc (Road), AR35 Disc (Road), WR45 Disc (Road + Gravel), WR35 Disc (Road + Gravel), AR56-30 Disc (Road), WR38 Disc (Road + Gravel), AR375 Disc (Road), AR465 Disc (Road), and so on.
The new X-Flow rim profile is surprisingly stable in crosswind conditions.
With every new generation of rims, you can really feel and recognize the progress of development and research, especially the brand new AR465 disc wheelset that I ride on my road bike - it is absolutely great. It is built up with reliable, relatively light, and affordable Novatec hubs and CX-Ray/Sprint spokes. The new X-Flow rim profile is surprisingly stable in crosswind conditions and noticeably more stable than the AR45 that I rode on a different bike. I didn’t expect such a big difference, but that’s progress. One of the most important things to have in a good wheelset is the build quality – and the Light Bicycle wheel builders do a great job!.
In addition, I really like the custom options for the wheelsets – you can really configure your dream wheelset. I recommended Light Bicycle to so many of my cycling buddies – and all of them are big fans of the wheels.
